I saw the art style and immediately thought it was a Makoto Shinkai movie, and I was right.
Yeah, he's the only director of anything that can reliably make me cry. I will be bringing a box of tissues into the theater (hint hint Funimation, Theatrical Run.) with me.
So my favorite bar ever is finally opening its second location today! Hopefully it will be on the same level as the original one so that I can more easily recommend it for PAX Prime attendees (the new location is much, much closer to the convention center than the original one).
So, As most of you at PAX east might know, a New Tribes game has been announced - Tribes: Ascend - as a direct sequel to Tribes 2. I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm also determined to to shit all over it or pass judgment on it till I actually play it, Rather than the second I see XBLA in the platforms list.
Also, Ascend is MMO only. I am also cautiously optimistic.
Nope, that's Tribes Universe - Ascend is apparently separate, and while multiplayer only, is speculated to be an FPS.
EDIT - Apparently better than speculated, From the Tribes: Ascend facebook page -
If anyone wants feels like some Z-FPS action after watching this trailer and doesn't want to wait for Ascend to come out... go to www.legionsoverdrive.com if you are unsure about that game below is a link to the newest montage. watch and sign up, legions is really worth it.

“Before Halo, before Modern Warfare, and before Battlefield, there was Tribes. Fans appreciate the game’s essence – athletic FPS combat combined with teamwork and strategy.
“The community has been waiting for a multiplayer shooter that is the modern successor to Tribes 2. Tribes: Ascend is that game.â€Â
Today I found out that the singing saw on the Factory Showroom version of "James K. Polk" by They Might Be Giants was played by Julian Koster of Neutral Milk Hotel and The Music Tapes. Nerdgasm.
Other than James K. Polk and They Might Be Giants, I have literally no idea what you are talking about.
You know those high-pitched, ghostly sounds that happen about halfway through the track? That's the sound of a dude bending a large metal saw and rubbing a violin bow against it.

Fucking beautiful. Why was he drinking a Mountain Dew when he did an ollie over the couch? Goddamn product placement!
One of Randall's best, I'd say.
