Redeem yourself by assuming that people don't post xkcd things here. It's a given that 99% of the people here read it.
Forgive me for not having read the "Geeks Dilemma" thread. I've seen plenty of people post xkcd to sum up their opinions before, and they hadn't been given grief. I didn't realize a taboo had been instated since then.
Just because someone has read it doesn't mean it's not worth posting. A relevant XKCD or Penny Arcade is indeed often a pithy and succinct response to a comment.
Hey, you know what would fix this issue in the future - and save you time? A more robust forum search function!
I didn't write this forum software. Don't act like it's my fault. If anyone wants to pay my salary, I'll quit today and write the best forum ever with perfect searching.
Well if I'm to go with this definition, I would say that I've been leaning more nerdy as I've gotten older. I used to be really into collecting, but now I am much more focused on just experiencing, which I would say is more on the achieving side of things. Also my brain has always been rubbish at retaining knowledge, but superior in applying principles and techniques.

That chart puts me in the nerd land when I am clearly in the geek land. I better find some fashion trends to enslave myself to.
I'll gladly wear a nerd title as much as the geek title.

How much of a "geek" do you consider yourself to be?
Or this one:
nerd vs. geek
Or this one:
Geek or Nerd.
But the top one was the most recently necro'd.
