    Nothing, but props.

So far I've received 10 submissions with most of them correct with positive feedback. Seems to be a good idea here. This will motivate me to work on next weeks special gaming ones.

  • Mother (Earthbound) - Ness
So far no one has answered this one correctly. M'whahahaha!

That's because the (Earthbound) is misleading. Mother 2 is Earthbound. Mother 1 is just Mother.
  • The protagonist to Mother is Ninten, or something close to it right?

Yeah I realized that after the first 2 answers of it. Perhaps I should have said Earthbound Zero.

    Correctomundo.

I wasn't paying very close attention, but you tried a trick question and you messed up. Mother is not Earthbound. In Mother, the kid's default name is Ninten.
  • Easy-peasy trivia today. Name that board game! This is not really part of the Photo Friday thing. There are still plenty of board games out there to do another one.

  • Name the landmark on this image:

Arse. I've not been keeping up with this thread. I named all of these easily, including Edinburgh Castle (visited in 2004), the Blue Mosque (visited last year) and Saint Basil's Cathedral (never visited, but knew it wasn't inside the Kremlin). What good is having such a large trivia wang if I don't get to swing it about a bit?
  • That is the coolest Clue set I've ever seen.

Yeah, I chose that one because I couldn't find any better images of actual game play. I probably could have if I went to Board Game Geek, but I didn't until 11 and on.

Yeah, I was thinking to myself that you would easily get it all or that you've probably been to all of these places already.

I'm sure I'll be doing another one in a few months.

Oh mans! I thought you would get all of them Matt!

Here's a hint: Rym & Scott did a podcast about it a long time ago. You can get a BIG BOX of it with all the expansions. I'm pretty sure it won the Spiel De Jahres.
  • 16 is Alhambra.
  • 16 is Alhambra.
    Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Well not really. However, I'll be bringing Betrayal at House on the Hill. I think you guys might like it.
  • 16 is Alhambra.
damn! I had no idea what the game was but based on theme I was going to say Ra, Alhambra, or Through the Desert. Can't win 'em all.

Ra looks like stereotypical Egypt. Through the Desert looks like a whole bunch of pastel camels.

yeah I've never seen the actual board for any of them, just going off of cursory knowledge and the fact that #16 had a lot of sand.

I think it's fun but if you don't like a dungeon crawl, Betrayal won't convert you. I like that it wraps up in an hour unlike most that take 2+ (looking at you, Fantasy Flight). Betrayal also has an awesome mission where the traitor is invisible and tracks their movement in a notepad. Reminds me of Fury of Dracula a bit.

Indeed. It's one of my favorite games because you build as you go and anything can happen and you won't know until the Betrayal happens. So anyone you're playing with could end up being your enemy.

I remember we got the Betrayal happening like 2 or 3 rounds in. That was rough.

Looking through a peephole watching someone shower. My guess is that Jason is taking the shower. :3
