Found it really cool, down here its about $140 a week for 3.5(the 0.5 is my sister that only eats lunch at home about 3 or 4 times a week) people, and about the same amount as the Sicilian family.
That page was depressing when you got to the bottom, MrRoboto.
Dunno, it's quite obvious so it shouldn't really shock you, and you are always aware of it, even still, I really found it interesting, you go to the store and buy shit, spend a couple of bucks, complain about prices, but once you see it in a weeks worth, its a lot of stuff, and you start to question yourself, where did it all go?
I also find it weird (not really) that the happiest looking family is one of the poorest ones, and the ones that spend the most (Germans) look kinda bleak.
And the fact that those people actually have food now thanks to people like Norman Borlaug, for under $2, means that you can actually DO something about it, like donate money so they can eat, depressing would be that someone rather throw their pennies away because they are bothersome in your pocket than donate it, because as you can see, $2 feed a lot of people.

You're probably seeing something you want to see. Nearly all of the families look happy. Also some people just don't smile.

It wasn't really shocking as more just being a out of site out of mind kind of thing. It's like I know that tons of cats and dogs are being put to sleep and I'll be ok until I see one being put to sleep.

Jeez, do you have to get didactic on me? I know that donating money can feed the hungry and I donate to them.

Indeed I probably am. But I was not really referring about happy about their situation, but as happy in the picture, c'mon, look at the father from the Ecuadorian dad, I'm really digging that picture.

Don't know, I guess we think differently, I mean, when people shove in my face videos of cows being slaughtered and stuff like that, I can still eat my stake with full peace of mind.

Not really my intention either.
I'm just saying I found it interesting and cool at the same time, helps put things in "perspective"

Teenager on the far right of the second picture. No-one understands him. Also, website is run by Christian minister(?), Baghdad prayer patrol made me laugh.
I realized today that I did not have the album New Magnetic Wonder by The Apples in Stereo. So, I downloaded it. It's one of the best albums I've heard in the past few months. The song Energy is particularly fantastic.
That picture is full of win! It's almost as manly as Chuck Norris (and by almost I mean the closest anyone has been able to get, which is less than a percentage.)

See the neck and the head?
Ok, I think that's just me...

That commercial is going to give me nightmares.
The only thing better than eagles killing goats is eagles killing goats to SLAYER!
But wait, there is something better!

Yeah, it's pretty fucking fantastic. Fun fact: Jeff Magnum plays back-up instruments on a few tracks on that album.
And I thought I had found it, when I found Ronald McDonald going OVER 9000!!!!!!!!1!!, however, I continued looking around and I found Suzumiya Haruhi... and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
But even that had to step aside to the one who I saw wearing the cool glasses first.
Squirtle.
