    From todays class:
    Teacher: "Who has seen Goatse?"
    *People raise their hands.*
Teacher: "Good, rest of you go google it up."
Good lord. Tell me this is a college level class at least, otherwise, summut's bout to git sued.

EDIT: Good lord, Machette looks hilarious. Also, Lindsy Lo-lwut? What is she doing in that movie? And Segal?

In town yesterday, I went to my tobacconist, and picked up two pouches of flavoured pipe tobacco, one pretty much entirely because of the name. In fact, the name is such that I'm tempted to buy a pouch, vacuum seal it in a bag, and send it over to HungryJoe.

    The name of this tobacco?

    "Sweet Killarney"

Isn't Killaraney also a word of Celtic origin?

I have no idea what's going on right now. This feeling will probably persist until someone explains to me what ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is. /lol

  • If there is one thing I regret it is never having lived in a dorm.
  • Re: Machete... My little brother's in that movie. We're from Austin, where it was filmed. I don't know for sure if he made the final cut, but, as he described it, he "got to point a gun at Mr. De Niro." I figure that's a bragging right, right there. I mean, how many people have gotten to point a gun at Mr. De Niro, really?

Yeah, that movie is gonna rock so hard.
  • Am I the only person who isn't excited about this movie at all? The two different trailers are funny, but I can't imagine sitting through an entire movie of that. Planet Terror was enough, I think.
  • Not only can I play Deus Ex, now I can make it pretty.

lol, that's awesome! That's like being able to say you were one of the victims in a Jaws film (except for the Revenge, I would keep quiet if I'd been involved in that one)
  • @ lackofcheese:
I just recently discovered that game much to the amusement of other people on skype. But whatever, now I'm pumped about getting it and making it look good. Right after I get windows working again.

Anyways I'm having a celebration for getting into officer training and it's going to be pretty awesome. Most of my family lives out in BC so I won't be able to hang out with them, but one of my friends, Amy, is getting some people together to eat, game and generally shoot-the-shit before I go. I plan on breaking out the snes game library if that helps to explain the awesome about to occur.
  • Virtual Haircut. Use headphones. It is amazing.

  • @Luke: My question for you is, can you like films ironically? It seems like that kind of film.
  • Virtual Haircut. Use headphones. It is amazing.

Yes. I have use this to much delight by having people close thier eyes while listening and lightly touching their hair. They get so freaked out.

This was cool when Disneyland did it years ago. And they did it much better.
  • Moleskine is prepped to steal at least $32 from me with its new Passions Journals. I'll buy the Recipes and Wine one, at least.

Man, I love meticulously cataloging things!

My harmonica came today! I just remembered how much I love the harmonica. Expect recordings.

What'd you get? I've got an old, cheap harp in B, and a hohner blues harp in G.

I got a Honer Old Standby in C. I might get the blues one a little later though. Its great that harmonicas are so cheap.

Learn on a cheaper one, then buy a decent one - that's the thing with Harmonicas, you can start to learn, and even get pretty good just as well on a reasonably cheap one as a particularly expensive one, until you start getting into chromatic harmonicas.
  • So, I just got a free acoustic piano, it's older than my mother and sounds beautiful. Hell yeah.

It's off in one or two notes, but I'll tune it in a bit.

Maybe I'm the only one here into indie games enough to recognize these guy's names, but has anyone else noticed that Adult Swim is getting some seriously big name indie game designers to make games for their site? First there was Cream Wolf, by Messhof and the Dino Run doods, and now there's Give Up, Robot (my thing of the day) by Matt Thorson. Somebody at Adult Swim knows what's up.
