    If I may share an Ode that I wrote for AP English III, for the fact that I got to read it out loud to a bunch of other like-minded high-schoolers:

    Ode to Vanilla Coke

    What a great sight it is
    To see you sitting there
    In your cold sweat
    The aroma not yet in the air

    I run my finger along your tab
    Your destiny so close
    I can almost feel you on my lips
    And the taste you’re willing to propose

    As your top comes off
    With a loud snap
    A foreshadowing of
    My ecstatic yaps

    I press your chilling body
    To my warm lips
    I shiver in delight
    Like in romantic scripts

    I let out icy breath
    Feeling relieved and drained
    I lay back and smile
    My urges now restrained

    Then I drink a Vanilla Coke

    Surprisingly well-done parody, termed by a YouTube commenter "The Assassination of Yogi Bear by the Coward Boo Boo". They matched the look of the movie's CG pretty damn well, and the expressions are actually pretty heartwrenching. And the end, just... just watch it.

    I was recently at Machinea Supremacys gig and after the gig they singed posters and whatever people wanted. Also they chatted a few words with everyone. When I told that I was a new listener, that had only listened the newest album, one of the band members told me to get them from piratebay. That gig really made me respect those guys.

    Wow. I didn't think the band could get any cooler.

    I'm checking out the band more closely and it looks like they're from Sweden. It looks like Sweden is becoming the geek capital of the world: pirate bay, wikileaks, minecraft, and now machinae supremacy

    Let's just branch out and say that all of Scandinavia is the place for geeks to be.

    EDIT: I mean, shit, Amon Amarth is from Sweden. Do you know the etymology of "Amon Amarth?" It's an alternate name for Mount Doom, in Elvish. That's right, the greatest musical group in the history of man kind took their name from a fictional language from what is possibly the greatest of nerdy works in history.

    If everything I've learned from Scandinavia and the World is true, it doesn't get that cold in Denmark.

    EDIT: It is. The coldest its ever gotten in Denmark is 0F and the lowest average is in the upper 30s.
