In watching this, there are so many times where I wanted to punch Ken Ham in the face. He is an excellent debater, but his use of rhetoric in the place of actual argumentation, his constant conflating of issues, and his his willful omittance basic scientific knowledge of natural processes (such as the layering of rock strata) make me want to scream. He's an excellent debater, but he cheats.
Eeyup. That's why I felt that the debate wouldn't end well for Nye. Nye plays fair against a dirty cheat.
95% right now, slightly down from 97% on Friday. I was totally ready to write this movie off as a shitty franchise phone-in when I saw the trailers. Pretty surprised at the reviews.
I want the Lego Movie to be good, but all signs point to bad. I'll wait for the rental DVD.
As much as the idea may amaze you, it's good.
As it turns out, one of the regulars to our big monthly game day is also a writer on the Lego movie. He may be biased but he can't shut up about it. From the 2 people I know independently who've seen it, they day it far exceeded expectations.

I think this can sum up creationism and evolution nicely.
I think I much prefer this version of the scene and I have no idea why.
Actually it was really uncomfortable to watch.
