Fuck if someone did this before, it's awesome as hell!
I posted that on the last page, but yeah I doubt anyone has ever done anything like this before. It must have taken hours and hours and hours to set up. I can't help but thing they might have cheated a little bit though.
It has 250 recipes from all over the world (you can even look at a world map and sift through them by country), acts a a timer, shopping list, instructor in basic techniques (I actually know how to properly julienne carrots now), automatic proportion calculator, and uses writing recognition for searches with flawless voice recognition for hands-free command input while cooking. Tsuji Cooking Academy in Japan wrote all the recipes for the game.
Coupled with the bit of culinary knowledge I already have, and my ability to hold tons of other cookbooks on my DS and view them using DS Reader, I have a feeling I will use this a lot in college. Homemade sukiyaki, here I come.
I unfortunately can't find the USB cable for my camera, but I got/found a copy of Hitler no Fukkatsu: Top Secret (aka Bionic Commando) today at the Video Game Expo. Now I just need to get myself a top loading NES since the Japanese NES games are short.
I know this isn't new, in fact I know it's at least two years old. However, I only saw it for the first time yesterday so I'm going with the rule of, "If I haven't seen it, it's new to me."
Actually, the reason why it's my thing of the day is because I saw it for the first time yesterday, watched it, enjoyed it for the most part, and moved on not really giving it much of a second thought. However, I found myself humming the song all day today as it's completely stuck in my head now, so I'm sharing the joy.
My thing of the day is that the NHL lead in goals scored is currently at 15 and split between my fellow countryman Thomas Vanek and Jeff Carter of my favorite team the Philadelphia Flyers. I win on both accounts

A cup stacking routine. And yes, before you start wondering, I do have a best time at the basic routine.

This is probably old or already posted here, if so, sorry.
