My brain was throwing some red flags about it so I just copied it to a throwaway vm at work to check it out a bit. But I mostly just watched the game grumps play through it all on YouTube.
They literally didn't change anything about what is in a specific aisle, they just took any sort of color palette down that might suggest that its "girls only" or "boys only".
Their mindset seems to be that all of a sudden boys are going to play with barbies and it will turn them gay. Now kids can play with whatever toy they want and I'm sure there are some boys that want to play with barbies but really I think this may have more if an influence on girls. I may be biased being that I am a male, but a lot of "boy" toys are just more fun. The boy section has this huge variety and they do all kinds of things but so much of the girls toys are mostly just pink shit revolving around being a housewife.

Boys toys are fun when you want to play an action movie. Girls toys are fun when you want to play a sitcom or soap opera. When I was a kid, I constantly repurposed both for each other.
I remember they had a "boy" easy bake oven called the "queasy bake oven" that was marketed like "look at all this gross shit you can make!" but it looks like it wasn't until a few years ago that they made a more gender neutral easy bake oven.

If Barbie came with a working toy rocket launcher, I probably would have been more about that.
Jeff Gerstmann has a similar color blindness to what I have and I believe he has a set of those glasses. I think he was saying they're okay but not that fantastic. But I mean, my colorblindness is mostly that it's difficult for me to discern certain colors without looking at it for a bit. Like certain games that use red and green to differentiate bad guys and good guys get kinda tough. A lot of puzzle games that have similar colors to match are sometimes a pain in the ass too. When I was really into Puzzle Fighter I sort of had to train myself to see the differences between I think orange and yellow faster than I normally would. It's surprising actually how many UI developers never take color blindness into consideration.
