There was a Reddit user who said he was from Saudi Arabia, and the Ashley Madison hack jeopardized his life because he had been flirting with men on there, a capital offense there. Dunno if it's true, but it certainly got me thinking. This may have greater consequences than the victim of the attack deserves.
This is a separate problem.
Open information is fine in a just nation (in theory). But many places in the world are far from just.
Those places either need to change, need to be changed, or need everyone who can to flee them.
So you're saying we need to bring a little freedom to Saudi Arabia?
I had no idea tall bikes were a thing before today. They look like they'd be absolute shit to ride, but the guy seemed pretty stable. (Please excuse the terrible image quality, but the window of opportunity was small.)
Yeah, there's at least 3-4 tall bikes at every CicLAVia I've been in.
They're cool looking, but riding them takes a lot of planning ahead and, in many cases, a friend closer to the ground to help get people out of your way so you don't have to stop.
Now we just need to combine the Tall Bike with those weird circular bikes with 4+ people on them. And possibly provide watergun turrets to terrorize pedestrians with.
EDIT: Also those beams on the tall bike look incredibly dangerous. I would not entrust my life to those beams.
Comments
That is mine now.
Edit: And John McAfee did an AMA.

Rantallion is a good one.
