EDIT - it also started out as a one-man operation, but they now have Pixelogic behind them, loaning them muscle and know-how to make it even more awesome - Pixelogic being the same guys who make ZBrush.
I didn't know Sculptris partnered with Zbrush! OMG! Digital sculpting programs are so different in work flow than the regular, polygonal modeling programs. Much more like drawing, much less like chiseling.

I only found out myself when I went to the site to make sure of my link. However - I still suck at this. Struggling to make even a vaugely right looking generic head with moderate, cartoon-like detail.
@Gunter -- I can't really understand what's going on, but considering the aptitude for comics storytelling you've shown in the past, I'm gonna assume that the final product will be crystal-clear. I can't wait to see it.
I never have "finished" work I can show, so I'm just gonna post some sketchbook pages from the last few weeks. This is mostly me playing with stuff I've been learning in my anatomy course. And, as usual, heads. Always heads.
Sorry to double post, but I wanted to show you this. Sketch Dump is something I'm starting on my website, and I drew this for Thanksgiving day. Half of my post thanks Mike and Jerry for producing the art they do, for it inspires me to drive even harder.
