A case was brought against John McCain about this very same issue and I have been doing a bit of reading on it today.
McCAin was not born in Coco Solo but he was born in Colon Panama and his parents were residing there at the time. This does not make him a natural born citizen as required by Presidencial clause and 1st sentence of 14th amendment. There was a court case about 6 months ago regarding a case between a Fred Hollander v. John McCain and the RNC in U.S. District Court in New Hampshire under case 1:08-CV-00099.
The case was challenging John McCain right to run for President because he was not a natural born citizen. Fred Hollander did not win the case because the Court ruled that he did not have standing to bring the lawsuit. However, there were several rulings that came of the court decision. One was that McCain was a native born citizen of Panama and a naturalized citizen of the United States.
From what I have gathered from commentary on both cases is that neither plaintiff had the legal standing to bring the case to court because in Hollander's case he was free to vote for any other candidate in the primary and in Berg's case Obama is not currently President Elect.
I also found an article that goes into a legal analysis of the McCain issue on a rightie site. Some of the writings are out there but this particular writer does have a legal background and appears to know his stuff (even if he is a follower of Scalia).

(This is probably because the candidate is NOT ineligible, and therefore his ineligibility cannot possibly have caused harm, but that's just speculation.)
I would have to say that if the Obama campaign had provided the required documents to prove the issue beyond all doubt than the ruling would have been more than the simple, "you can't bring this case" ruling we received.

It looks like both of these suits were filed by party members (not opposition people) in an effort to avoid a Constitutional crisis after the election. It looks like the real important election is not the Presidential one but the House and Senate races. If this goes to SCOTUS and the President Elect is found to be ineligible then it will be up to the House and Senate to decide who becomes the next President.
I can only hope that there is not some smoking gun picture out there of baby Barack and his parents in a Kenyan hospital just after his birth.

I'm really wondering if the people in America are really that stupid. Obama will only raise taxes if you make more than $250,000 and the "redistribution of wealth" is to the benefit of people who make less than that. In fact, any kind of taxation is "redistribution of wealth", even McCain's, and it's not like you are getting nothing in return of the taxes you pay. Any lack of taxation is lack of necessary redistribution of wealth because without it the social layers just grow further and further apart.

Short of something major (and I mean MAJOR) almost nothing. That being said, after the 2000 and 2004 elections, I have no faith in our election system. It is far to fallible and the States refuse to let the Federal Government set a national standard for polling stations, voting systems, processes to count votes, etc. When it comes to local and State elections, each town, city, county, State, etc. can do what they like - but a national election should have national standards.

I know I heard some of the news reports mentioning students, which would likely be the larger number of 88. I don't know what the plan was for decapitation. But my best guess, as they were (thankfully) stupid indiviuals, they mentioned it online and Secret Service came across it.

Never mind the fact that the book of Revelations is allegedly meant to be an allegorical attack on the Roman Empire.
