Crazy cat ladies.. now available in new bunny flavour.
It's not just for t3h bunnehs. If there was a hurt bird, squirrel, or fox, I'd want to help it as well. I like all the ani-mules.
I don't know if there are crazy bunny ladies. I've never seen one before. I don't think bunny poops have brain infecting parasites like cat poop does, the one that causes the cat crazy hoarding.
Despite being very drunk last night, I finished all my chem homework, went to bed at 2:30, woke up in time for an eight AM class, and was perfectly awake through both of my morning classes. I even took all of my notes.
Last night and this morning were great successes. Made lots of new friends, as well.
This is a Booyah! by proxy. A friend of mine and former FRC member was the Lead Environment Artist on Dexter the Game. It has only been out 3 days and it is 22nd most purchased app on itunes. It received some great reviews already.
I made a really bad decision tonight. Seriously guys. Going to a bar when you have an eight AM class is never legit. Even if you think, "Oh, it's just Model UN, what's the worst that could happen?"
When I read that I refrained from saying "what's wrong with you?"

Yeah. Still not going to do that again anytime soon. But it was definitely fun, considering that I got to know someone who I barely conversed with in high school and who is, in reality, a totally awesome human being.
That album I've been working on for a year is ready to record! All of the lyrics and beats are finished, I just need to bring them all together on one computer and buy a decent microphone.

I finally understand why Emily loves bunnies so much, because tonight I had an experience that I will never forget because I literally saved one's life. I was going home walking down my street from the town faire, and I heard a sound that sounded like an animal crying in pain. I didn't want to scare it so I took out my flashlight that I had in my backpack and turned it to a low setting. I found a little rabbit and he was really hurt, like his leg was bleeding and stuff and I could tell an animal got at it, but didn't finish it off. It was so cute and it was crying in so much pain, and I started to cry too because it broke my heart to see something like this. I had knowledge of how to tell whether a wild animal was safe to approach. I learned he was safe to touch and did not have any signs of rabies or any other contagious disease. I pet him a little and it calmed him down quite a bit.
I knew the Animal Control number, and I called the sheriff up and I told him what happened and understood immediately and sent a truck down right away. He thanked for my selfless and kind act and said I could visit it in a few weeks when it has healed up. I went over to the rabbit and I said good-bye to it and it looked back at me with the cutest eyes I've ever seen in an animal. Bunnies are the greatest animals next to kitties, and I hope to own one someday.
Yes there are and they are worse than the crazy cat hoarding ladies. I tend to see rabbits brought in way too late post disease as owners prefer to see if the rabbit will heal itself.
Any how the crazy bunny lady presented with an obese rabbit for lethargy. I did a full exam, overgrown incisors, poor capillary refill time, claws, poor coat (unable to clean itself, so obese it couldn't reach areas that it should have). The kicker - got to the back end and the entire perineum was fly struck, huge number of maggots eating the rabbit alive. Outlined treatment, with surgery as a requisite, owner wanted to just get the vaccine and take it home. I said the only other option was euthanasia as no pound was going to take in a rabbit like this. Had to call the RSPCA who sent over an officer to take ownership from crazy bunny lady. I then euthanased the rabbit.
I read that while eating a burrito. I would have been overcome with sadness and disgust, but luckily the burrito was good enough to transmute that into a sort of melancholy about the existence of people who treat their pets like that.
Seriously though, that's without a doubt the worst "crazy pet person" story I've ever read.
Guess who is now working in the IT department of his work! (I work at a lab, but was recruited into IT without asking ^_^) Because I'm probably in the top 5 of people who know what they are doing on a computer at my location (of about 300 people).
My new job has all its documentation for the hospital in a Wiki, I know it's not ideal but it's lightyears ahead of random bunches of Word documents.

That's pretty awesome, I've always wondered how that would go for me but have never been in a workplace with over 20 people and have always ended up as the guy who will do the tech stuff for free.

As you all remember, I had that adorable encounter with the injured bunny. Well today, I found out where he came from...there is a rabbit's nest somewhere in my yard. How did I come to this deduction you ask? Well I was walking home from classes and I usually have to go in through the backyard door and I saw two rabbits that look distinctly, if not identically, similar to the one I rescued. So yeah, I'm very very happy!

1. I'll be spending next weekend in Washington D.C., rather than NYC.
2. Because of that decision, I may have just won over a girl's heart.
Boo yah?

The NES game was also very good.
(I'm sure they are taking care of him.)
