No, pretty sure he died just two days ago, from Septicaemia due to complications from a shoulder injury. He did have a heart attack last year, but he survived that.

I got to see Brooks give a talk last month and dude is still in good shape. He didn't even have a cane. I wouldn't be surprised if he passed, but I don't think he will for another year or two.
