  • For me, Halloween is a celebration of the cider donut.
And absolutely not a celebration of any food with pumpkin in it. Pumpkins are for decoration purposes only.
Real pumpkin pie and roasted pumpkin seeds are delicious. I also had that mashed pumpkin at that Afghan restaurant outside of Hartford; that was good stuff.

Still, pumpkin is inferior to cider donuts.

Pumpkin is inedible. Cider donuts might as well be fois gras.

Foie gras on a cider donut would be amazing.

I feel as though Halloween was a lot more fun when I was a child. Then again, when I was a kid, my parents didn't freak out about my safety during trick-or-treating, so I could run around my tiny po-dunk town with my friends all I wanted.

I do miss costumes, too. I've always thought that anime cosplay was somehow lame compared to Halloween costumes.
  • EDIT: Watership Down is probably one of my top 10 Favorite Books I'll Re-Read Ever 2-4 Years. Same goes with the movie.
    Frith, I love that book.
Yupa is pretty much enthusiastic about everything.
    Yup!
  • Everything with Yupa is either absolutely the most amazing, best thing that has ever happened to him in his whole life, or absolutely the most miserable, worst thing that has ever happened to him in his whole life. He should either be evaluated for Bipolar Disorder or hire a better drama coach.

We were all like that once, even if, for some, it was back before time had been invented.

You know, seeing as how my brother has Bi-Polar, I can honestly tell you that this is completely unlike Bi-Polar entirely. Bi-Polar is ridiculously stressful and makes my brother impossible to deal with sometimes.
You were joking, but if you really think that defines Bi-Polar...Then yeah...No...

Don't even suggest a thing like that because that is not even close to what mental disorder I do in fact have. The correct evaluation is Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (but mostly the Attention Deficit Disorder part).

@ the 1st comment: Unless you are very squeamish, it's very hard to not like it. "All the world will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed."

@the 2nd comment: It's funny you say that because I'm not usually like that when I'm around the FRC or on the forums. I'm usually moody and very withdrawn, except on the off-chance I happen to be with my friends. That is actually rare because for much of my school life up until I transferred to a public high school, I went to a special-ed school where many of the students were far-flung and it's hard to see them everyday. I've got a few friends in Greenwich, Lyme, Stratford, Stamford, New Milford, and more.
(T_T) How can you dislike Halloween? It's such a fun holiday!

I like dressing up as a monster and running around at night.
A mutant rabbit (not Wallace and Grommit style)? If I had the skills I'd probably dress up as General Woundwort or Bigwig.

Are you stalking Emily? You're pretty... enthusiastic... about her.
Are you for serious? Really, I want to know if you are joking or not? If you aren't...um...wow.

Dude, look at your own actions. You're the closest to being obsession personified from anyone I've ever met, and you appear to have taken quite a few steps into praising every breath Gomily takes. Hard truth: You will most likely never get in her pants.

This is true, when you've taken your medicine.
  • Ah, Nineless is back, in all his tsundere glory. Moe, moe, moe..
  • I still need to tweak a few of my settings on my taskbar, but I found this wallpaper from 4walled. If this was only Super Mario World with Yoshi...

  • Oh my god thank you Ro. I was looking for 4scrape substitutes but gave up after a while.

Sadly, I've become set in my desktop ways. Excluding the shortcuts, this hasn't changed for at least two years now.
So, does anyone else keep the same desktop for inordinate amounts of time, or am I the only one?

It's usually seasonal for me, unless I see one that just blows me away or I find fantastic like the awesome one above. It also is an interesting coincidence that this happens with desktops like how some people like to change their names a lot on the forums (like Nine and I).

EDIT: I've saved over 40 different wallpapers from that Imageflashed, so from now on I'll never possibly run out of wallpapers to use when I feel like it.

I've been recycling through a few old wallpapers that I can't get enough of. Once cool feature about Windows 7 is you can have a desktop slideshow and have it change your wallpaper at a set time. I plan on making some desktop slideshows when I'm not lazy.

I made one with world flags.

Being better than 4walled is not that hard. Nikbot is still the best if you ask me. Was the best temporary one too. It has an endless page, though wallpapers are removed over time.

Just changed my desktop to this awesome image of Saturn eclipsing the sun. That white outside a bit to the left of the most visible rings is Earth. I thought about putting a "you are here" sign there, but I though it would ruin it.
