  • If this is supposed to be an active process, then it seems I'm doing it all wrong :p
It's definitely not, and you're probably doing it right. Pursuing it as an "active process" generally leads to finding girlfriends, and breaking up shortly thereafter.

I'm not pursuing it as an active process. findgf.exe runs quietly in the background, using only .5% of my second core and 16MB RAM.

I'm in the same boat here, except it's more like .5% on the fourth core.

Ditto, except it keeps getting moved back to additional cores as I realize I've never met a single girl who's been interested in me. Oh well, guess I'll wait 'til college.

You have to find the right kind of crazy. Women who play mind games are the wrong kind of crazy. Women who smash you on the head with a coffee mug and then try to take away the phone when you're trying to call 911 are the wrong kind of crazy.

You want the sort of crazy that's good in bed but won't stab you in the chest.

That's not what you said this past weekend. You said you liked my crazy eyes and my stabby stabby!

I thought you would have made a choker that are actually dies that explode when you push a button on a handheld device you possess. Great for your foes, hours of amusement.

  • Well, sort of sweet. It's also a bit selfish; I take gluten-free cooking as a personal challenge, because most of the gluten-free stuff I've tried so far has sucked in comparison to its glutened version. I'd like to try to get my cooking to the point where I can make a gluten-free dish that is every bit as tasty as its glutened counterpart. It benefits my egoandNuri's stomach. Win-win.
Yeah, I figured as much. At least you can find and create tasty dishes and still satisfy your tastes. My boyfriend cannot tolerate onions or hot food, so that makes a lot of what I used to eat a bit more challenging to make. I love meals with onions so much. As for normal dishes, I pretty much just add Tabasco or other hot sauces in my own dish.
He forgot to mention that it also helps him get laid.
Even though he didn't mention it, it can be assumed that making tasty dishes you can eat = happy time.

I am currently writing a two part blog post about the history of and a review of the lost Mario anime. I will not post the links to both until both parts are done. Needless to say, it is really tough to write about as it's an extensive and detailed history and review that I've put together, with pics galore.

EDIT: What does one do to get his blog looked at and read? I'm the kinda person who really needs feedback either told to him or written to him whenever he engages in any kind of activity that is an art or is creative in any single way. It isn't enough to me if people just look at it and think something like "Oh that was pretty cool, whatever." I need them to directly communicate with me in some fashion, but to do that people need to know about this blog. Again, how do I get the word out about this blog to other places on the internets?

Honestly, people will see it if it's good. Eventually you'll make enough quality posts to get regulars, and they'll start posting feedback. I hate the Shameless Self Promotion junk. (I didn't mean posting it here in the forums, I just meant spamming it everywhere you can to get someone else to stumble onto the page.)

Thanks for the advice. Seriously though, the only self-promo-ing I'll do is maybe mentioning a post that I find is good enough to be seen by people here every once in a while.

Yeah, I think honestly that'll be good enough. I made a post about Atheism as kind of a journal entry on my Wordpress and accidentally made it public. I came back the next day to 30 views and 4 comments to my first post on a blog I hadn't mentioned anywhere.
