That would make an interesting comic.

  • I'm engaging in something very rewarding and exciting. Geneaology. I want to know where I come from, because Geofino (the latter is just a pseudonym with a one letter difference by the way) is a name no one else except my family has. I guess what started to get me interested was the fact that I was told that my original name was once Zeffini (which is just kickass in my opinion). But when my family sailed over to Ellis Island, some bonehead changed it to Geofino because they apparently thought people would find it too hard to write or say Zeffini...bullshit. Because I have this new name, I have to spell it out to everyone I meet which was fine the first 50 times, now it's a chore that is annoying as all hell. I've been making a family tree at this awesome site called Geni, and I have more entries on my mother's side done than my father's side because of the aforementioned story. I highly suggest people give genealogical activities try.
  • Being a computer science major who is under the delusion that he's far behind anyone else and will never catch up (something that I actually know isn't true, but anxiety can be very cruel), I've pledged to do an hour of coding every day. I'm making some java games right now, and then I plan on tinkering with flixel.

Besides that, I play guitar for a half hour every day. I just started last year, and I've definitely got a good grasp on it now.

The rest of my time is spent planning a trip to Italy in 10 days and reading A Song of Fire and Ice (I'm trudging through Clash of Kings right now).
  • Learning Java for real...

Also, convention planning (Connecticon, Otakon, PAX East, PAX West, NYCC/NYAF, MoCCA, Anime Boston)!
  • Learning Objective-C and using it to develop for the iPhone.
