As a libertarian I'll say this: Yes, I believe individual freedom should be maximized. However, if your actions and decisions endanger not just public health and safety, but the health and wellbeing of your own goddamn kids then you are wrong. Period.
That message could be used for the anti-vaccination argument as parents are apparently protecting their kids from the threat of developing autism.
At what age is autism diagnosed? Can we get these people to vax their kids after that age? Or is their Vax=autism belief so strong that they think it can make an adult autistic?
Yes and no. The original bananas that we know stopped filming in 2001 or so, and went into re-runs for the next few years, and then in 2011 to 2013, they had a new version, which was full CGI and full of that dead-eyed CGI creepyness that you get from shows like Chuggington. Also fuck Chuggington, just listen to the older engines you asshole then you wouldn't get in so much bloody trouble.
Why do parents have their kids watch Chuggington? Thomas the Tank Engine was narrated by George Carlin or Ringo Starr, depending on the season. Watch that instead. It's just better.

You really should drop the mic after you lay down such powerful truths.

I second this, plus I used a tactic when I was baby sitting.
I had the kid(s) watch good shit like old sesame street, animaniacs, TtTE, Batman TAS, and other age appropriate cartoons. I burn them to a DVD of a few epiosdes and let them enjoy.
I then report my findings to the adults, leave the disc there and get a huge tip at the end of the night.

I have yet to see Chuggington. Probably for the better. My kid has also yet to see it... He apparently does like Barney though, no thanks to his babysitter.
Do the writers for the Walking Dead hate black people? Other than Michone they don't live very long.
No, there were a lot more white people killed in the show. The comic book had more appropriate timings of death and the characters are portrayed in a way where you forget about race altogether so when a character dies, it's just that character not their race that you think of.
That show has gone downhill after the first season, there was a perfectly great plotline to follow from the comics but they want to do their own shit and stay true to the comic erratically.
I did some programming in the Mac lab at Uni with a few friends. I had completely forgotten how to use OSX and the Mighty Mouse. It took me a few seconds to get a hang of the mouse it felt so fucking weird, which was compounded with a browser install which would constantly drop to dock when I tried to get it to go to windowed mode. I realised how much I use the snap to border functionality in Windows.
It was even more hilarious with the kids I was accompanied with as they had never used OSX. Problems included - finding the power button, how to scroll in inverted mode, working out that Ctrl click brought up the context box, working out hot keys for copy and paste, working out how finder works and getting Eclipse to work with the network drives through OSX.
It was interesting on reflection to see how these guys struggled on an OS they weren't use to.
I've been posting on every Facebook post I see "now you know how I feel on a day to day basis being colorblind"
Not that being colorblind makes you see drastically different colors in different lights and moods, but just not being sure which colors are which sometimes.
With all of the photo shopping of images and sharing of those images... If something really bizarre ever happened and there was photographic evidence, would we believe the photo?

if something truly bizarre happened, there would be more evidence than a single photo.
Just found out that the shipping label I thought I printed as a PDF and sent out was actually just a shipping receipt. It was a shipping label in the print preview, how did it end up being a receipt when saved as PDF??? To make matters worse I can't reprint the label because it has been more than 24 hours.
So I had to schedule a new ups pickup and instruct ups to bring the shipping label.

Although their partnership with HTC is news to me. I thought they'd develop their own separate headsets.
