    What is that?

  • Percentages marked in red are higher than the lowest price a game has been. Green are lower or equal.
  • Is the Skyrim flash sale right now worth it? Jeremy wants to know.
  • Well if he's wondering if it's going to be cheaper then no. The flash sales are the cheapest they'll go during the sale.
  • My paypal account isn't working D:

Metro Last Light for one cent.

Ordered a few minutes ago but it's gone now.

Now it's a waiting game to see if they cancel my order while it's processing.

I got my order in with my usual Bar-in-LA trick for the address, they've taken the money and are processing the order. Now to see if they come through with the code.

Edit - Nevermind, order canceled. They're cancelling a swathe of orders because it was a mistake.

  • My bar in LA is the geekhaus I think. Wherever the frontrowcrew domain is registered.
  • Think I'll be buying Slam Bolt Scrappers and The Maw for $2.50 each.
  • For the three people who haven't played Bastion yet: It's 2 bucks for another 4 hours. Get it!
  • Thomas Was Alone is only 2 bucks also, but for the duration of the entire sale, and it says that Summer Sale ends on the 22nd.

Suicide should be considered if you still haven't gotten this game. It's short and awesome and filled with character and heart. Also rectangles of various forms being bad-ass.
  • FTL is $2.49. No excuses.
  • Anno 2070 is $19.49. If you want a great futuristic SimCity type game, check it out. Plus, it has cooperative multiplayer.
Wait to see if it gets on the Daily Deals or Flash Sales as that is just the Summer Sale price. At worst it will still be same price for a while.
And now it is $14.99. That is probably the lowest it will go.
  • Bought a little thing called "The Basement Collection" which is apparently an array of short indie games by Edmund McMillen, the designer of Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac. It's literally a dollar (actually, 1€, but whatevs).

The Binding of Isaac is also 2.50. No excuses.
  • Fez & OST $8. Deal.
  • [moved from the Civ V thread]

Oooh, Sleeping Dogs might go on sale for $6.25. I've heard good things about it. Is it worth buying at that price? (Full disclosure: I liked the idea of GTA, but don't like the forced storyline and ludonarrative dissonance. I've heard that the worldbuilding in Sleeping Dogs is good, the setting feels alive, and the "moral choice" system is actually well done.)
  • Yeah, I'll take XCom for $10. I had no idea they had a Mac version, so that was a no brainer for me.
  • I got Wargame: European Escalation for $10.
  • I got nothing, cause there are times when money is tight.
  • Picked up Surgeon Simulator because novelty. Also BNW.
  • Thus far, Hotline Miami, Saints Row 3, and Papo and Yo.

For you? Yes, you'll dig it like a spade. Hong Kong action movie gta, with arkham asylum Kung fu, and a story that beats gta4 all hollow.

  • Yeah, Sleeping Dogs is a very good game.
  • Just bought Fez and FTL.

Sold! I picked up Sleeping Dogs and The Walking Dead, and played the first episode of the latter. I highly recommend it. It has the amount of bleak, hopeless dread I so love from the comic (that was sorely missing in the show).

Pssst, did you know that Thomas Was Alone is still cheaper than that shitty Starbucks coffee you once bought? Experimenting blindly isn't the best idea, so don't do that and follow my words. Buy Thomas Was Alone, it's awesome.

Also, I fucking love all these Summer Sale wallpapers.
