How has Rogue Legacy STILL not come up for a daily or flash sale?
Maybe because it came out literally two weeks before the sale started and you're lucky it's even on sale at all?
Anyway, if you buy it, buy it from the Humble Store widget on the developer's site. They get 90% of the money rather than 70%, and you get a Steam key AND a DRM-free copy of the game. http://www.roguelegacy.com/
It's not the game's fault you lack even the most basic level of self-control.
Hard to explain, but its not really a self control issue. I do not attempt and fail to stop myself from constant save-reloads, I just actively do it as my play style.

So you want to save and reload like that then? What are you complaining about?
I just don't fundamentally understand the complaint.
"Hey, when I reload after knowing what the AI is going to do, I always win that's not fun. If I don't do that I lose. This game sucks"
Think about other TBS games like Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, etc. Those games let you save only when you need to take a break, not to abuse an unintended "save-state" mechanic. If those games let you save and reload whenever you want, it could be argued that it would make the game less fun and be a flaw in design. This is why I don't have fun for very long in X-com or Civ games.
Again, I know this is just me and I said that it will sound stupid because it is, but that is my problem with it.
Also I have no idea why you bring up Advance Wars or Fire Emblem because you can totally do that save state cheese in those games as well.
EDIT: Also, I have $5 in my steam wallet at this point. Is GTA IV worth nothing, or are there other sandboxes at the same pricepoint that I should get instead?

Although, I don't remember what was it's exact price, you should have gotten Sleeping Dogs. Does about everything that GTA IV did, except better. Also there's Saints Row 2, although the PC port is apparently horrible on that.
...You fly first class? Do American airlines have affordable first class prices? Here, it's like 20 bucks for a economy seat vs 3000 bucks for a first class seat. I think the main difference is they get a dedicated router.
PRO TIP: If you're flying Virgin America (though this probably works on Delta/Air Tran/other new-ish airlines, not the old stodgy ones), book a regular ticket and then ask for an upgrade at the gate. If they have any seats available, you can usually upgrade for around $100. Not super cheap, but not the $1000+ you'd have to pay to book a first class seat in advance. I usually go this route if I have extra money and am traveling cross country, since spending 6 hours in economy class is the worst of all possible worlds.

I am sad.
EDIT: Front page price finally changed.

Current batch of sales suck.
Is Brave New World the only dlc not included in civ 5 gold?
I should be getting at least one more card from a purchase once the system catches up.
