  • I bought that stupid Monaco thing so shut up, Ro.

About fucking time, asshole. Now I just need to install my new PSU and play the game once to get a feel and we can play next week....

...on yet another important date I shouldn't be podcasting.

  • I would like in on Monaco as well. I tried it single player and found it a bit bland.
  • The best possible Monaco experience is on a big TV with your friends in the room yelling at each other, but multiplayer with voice chat is still pretty fun.
  • Monaco has same screen co-op?
  • If I get Monaco, will some of you play it with me? I know ~0 PC gamers IRL, so multiplayer games like this are kinda iffy for me.

    Monaco has same screen co-op?
Yep. Super easy if you have an Xbox 360 wireless receiver for Windows and your friends have Xbox controllers (or you just plug in a bunch of wired controllers). Or if you just buy the XBLA version I guess, but that's not the version that's on sale.

Hint: Look for the "Local Co-op" tag in the box under the metascore on a game's Steam store page.

Also on sale with local co-op is Ms Splosion Man ($5). The local co-op is actually the best part of Ms Splosion Man IMO.

  • I gave in and bought NS2. It was only a matter of time once they added the female marine; I have a duty to vote with my wallet about shit like that.

    Yes.
  • Picked up Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition a few days ago for cheap. Tried sorcerer class for a tiny bit and then switched to pyromancer. I'm enjoying it so far. Game stresses me out a little though. :)
  • I have Monaco, gifted from a friend just today.
  • I too have bought Monaco, as well as Saints Row 3: complete collection. After subtractions from my Steam Wallet, it cost me $5 all together. I love the new trading card system.
  • Cremlian, Sail and Carpe Noctem (that's the steam name, is it petit mort?) wanna go in on a Monaco 4 pack?
  • So, Just Cause 1 is 27 cents on Steam right now?

    yes
  • Pegu, Sure. How would I pay you other steam games?
  • edited July 2013
I'm not really sure since my paypal is dickered afaik. How about I try paying you to see if it works? cremlian@gmail.com?
Edit: Ok I fixed my paypal. Looks like it was using old prepaid credit cards rather than my debit. I guess Cremlian's collecting the money now. We'll each save $1.82.

  • Just Cause is 27 cents.
  • I bought Worms: Revolution, then realized that it's shit and Worms: Armageddon is on sale for the same price. Probably going to buy Armageddon now.
  • I couldn't get ahold of Carpe Noctem. It's me, Cremlian, Sail and Ruffas.

The sale at that price ended, did someone buy it? I have no idea what is going on. If no one bought it, then I'm out, I really don't need Monaco right now anyway.

  • Sail I have a copy for you, pay me and I'll give it to you. Plus what is your steam name?
  • I have two extra Monaco copies for trading
  • Sail I have a copy for you, pay me and I'll give it to you. Plus what is your steam name?
It is cyclpsrock. Paypalin' right now.
  • Trading cards for the summer sale are near impossible to buy right now. Every time I try I get the "already sold" message.

I was going to buy a bunch of them that are cheap and list them for huge moneys figuring that after the sale is over people might be willing to pay more if they only need one or two to complete their set.
  • I'm still missing the football manager, skyrim and torchlight cards to finish my level 3 badge if anyone is interested in trading.
  • Is there any other reason to have the trading cards other than to see who has the biggest E-peen?
  • I think it's all about the e-peen.
  • The cards, when crafted into badge levels, get you crap like emoticons and backgrounds. I got bunch of random cards and put them all up for sale for like a quarter just to see if anyone will wind up buying them.
  • I have spare Tomb Raider cards, and will probably have more when I buy a bunch of things right before end-of-sale tomorrow morning.
