Slam Bolt Scrappers is sharing a PAX East booth with Spy Party. I definitely want to play it. Seems to be somewhere in-between Rampart and Battle Balls. Perfect!
In the same vein, I know people talk a lot about getting drunk here, but don't. Really don't. Draw the line at pleasantly buzzed and continue to enjoy your con experience.
I know we talk about drunkness, but usually we're only pretty buzzed. Though drinking last year had the benefit of helping me sleep through Pete's snoring.

I don't really post on here, but I'm at PAX East this year and would love to play more board games. Could I be added to the Beluga Pod? My email is andrew.oppenlander@gmail.com

Renaissance is win. 5 min to BCEC and Marriott elite status got my room bumped up to the concierge floor, access to rewards member club with free breakfast lunch and dinner, as well as a $20 voucher for lobby starbucks.
Well, I'll be arriving some time tomorrow afternoon (couldn't get the day off from work, but I'll instead leave early). Printed out my PAX bar code receipts as I never got my badges in the mail for some reason. Hopefully I won't get any grief.
Thanks for posting my video (shaky as it was) of the line from last year's Omegathon finale. Also, please add me to the Beluga Pod as well so I can get schooled by you all. Email is paulorciby@gmail.com.
Thank you, everyone who came to PAX, because it was with the people from this forum that I had the most fun at the con by far. A special thank you has to go to Scott for providing Bohemian Rhapsody, though I provided the speakers so people could actually hear it. Singing along was a lot of fun, even if we fell off the song a bit.
So, I think that was the better of the two PAX Easts to date. However, I'm not sure if that's because it was actually objectively better, or because I knew what to expect this time, and was able to be more efficient with myself.

It was objectively better. Everything was managed more efficiently (lines, tables, game "rentals") and there was way more space. Obviously some things still need work (eg., some rooms are still too small) and maybe a boost in content (there were a surprising number of repeat panels), but otherwise it was a pretty awesomesauce time.
The tabletop room was fucking amazing. Mind = blown.
Yeah. I think it being one big room (rather than many separate rooms) made it easier to join in on games with random people who just happened to be playing a game you know, or always wanted to try.
I just went to the unofficial Enforcer afterparty, and a somewhat-tipsy Enforcer kept gushing about that "front row crew" and their panels. Keep up the good work.
Also, even though I didn't get to see much of PAX (I blackshifted through most of it), I had a great time, and met a lot of awesome people. Hopefully I can go to Prime in six months.

I try my best to get him to roll to a position of minimal noise-making, but after I'm asleep all bets are off.
