Oh, people draw animal characters as people all the time, like the wolf and the goat in "One Stormy Night." And then they write yaoi doujinshi about said wolf and goat.
...Stranger things have happened. Those fangirls can slash everything. I found a funny picture that said "Slash Everything" and it had a drawing of a chair, an "x" and then a drawing of a lamp.
I'm waiting to see yaoi dojinshi derived from technical manuals or cooking instructions.
You need two pretty boys. 1. Put the pretty boys in to an intimate situation. 2. Put one pretty boy on bottom and other one on top. 3. Shake 30min with raising intensity. 4. You now have ready healthy yaoi-relationship.
I can't exactly nail down why you like this show? Is it self referential or what? I'm probably going to go watch it soon.
I have watched this and liked it, but still can't give good answer to that. Maybe it's just simple good fun. Characters are likeable, it's visually pretty and there just is something quite appealing in it.
You know, something is freaking my brain out a little when I watch these episodes. I'm watching a cartoon episode with a story structure that is thoroughly the same style as the classic 80's cartoons, but it's drawn in modern cartoon style and the action is faster. It's like watching my childhood cartoons age. @_@
Okay, so episode 15 pissed me off greatly because of the apparent overall message, even more so because this is a show intended primarily for children. I had a bad feeling that it would turn out this way for much of the episode, and I hate to have been proven right.
Well, I've seen that type of cliche done in cartoons multiple times. It's something about doubting someone's intuition or if they get a bad feeling, and there's someone who's an ever-constant skeptic no matter how many times they are proven wrong. That was Twilight's shtick for half the episode. I think the message at the end is very oddly worded, but I wouldn't say it was meant to spark controversy.
