I just purchased a new and better hard drive for my computer. The one it came with has a hidden OS recovery partition. How do I replace the old drive with the new drive and have the same recovery partition while also having a fresh windows install?
If you're doing a fresh Windows install, you should be able to create a recovery disk during the Windows install, at which point you can ignore the old recovery partition.
I have to go to court on Monday and expect to be the victim of an unfair trial and corruption between the plaintiff and the judge. Is there someone I can bring along that can watch the proceedings and then after they witness this miscarriage of justice punish those responsible?
IANAL, but we have whole systems of courts for that, right? So... a lawyer? And maybe another lawyer?
I need someone outside of the courthouse. Like an investigative reporter or a government watchdog group that has a specific purpose of insuring the courthouse is run fairly.
I have hired a lawyer. In my particular situation The lawyer fixes the current problem and the person pings me again forcing me to hire a lawyer again. Wash, rinse, repeat.
As an analogy hiring a lawyer is akin to me shooting down thrown rocks with a Patriot Missile. Yes, I will hit the rocks but the cost will bankrupt me.
I need something that will force this person to stop throwing rocks at me.
Also... shooting down the rock throwers with a patriot missile sounds EXACTLY like what the US gov't would do/is doing.
On one hand, overkill is inefficient. On the other hand, it leaves the job done and usually with a giant void where the job was but no longer is, so it know's where it wasn't and so on...
Is the Nintendo eshop always rooted at Christmas, or is this an unusual case?
Oh hey, the shop is now working well enough to do the link ID business...And to tell me that they've turned off the eshop in this region temporarily. Fuck it, good enough.
How old is too old for a letter of recommendation? I applied to a bunch of law schools last year, but decided to hold off to take care of some personal stuff. Should I have my LoR's updated, or are they fine as is?

If they are written and signed they should be fine you can also contact your references and see if it's ok for them to be contacted by phone / email.
I've used references that are 3 years old for jobs.

EDIT: Or maybe it was Springsteen, I forget who you're obsessed with.
There's also a Soviet radio station, Chinese radio station, Radio free wasteland with five new lore-friendly channels, and Conelrad, with a decent track list of it's own.
NINJA EDIT: wait, did you not notice who my current avatar is? Thank you.
This already happened once about six months ago.
