  • As for weapons, it doesn't matter to me. I just want to play.

  • Since we are at it, how about no spies? You know, because I tend to get back stabbed quite often and can't really play well as a spy, it should totally be off limits for the Scrim. Medic-Heavy is also way overpowered, so no Ãœber either please.
  • SPIES AND UBERS! It's not overpowered if everyone has access to it. More interesting is all spies and Ubers, but that is for another day.

    Yeah I am. Which is why lately I've tried to play spy without disguising.

    I'm in, whatever it ends up being. I'm going to have fun either way, even if it ends up in a 2fort turtle match. I mean, I'll vote against 2fort simply because it gets annoying quickly, but I'll still be in if it happens to be in.

    Apparently the Sandman, Natascha and Wrangler are considered game-breaking in competitive play. Granted, that's mostly in the standard 6v6 games, though.

  • Wrangler is a little OP, but good spies can take care of it. I've never seen Sandman used well, and Natascha isn't a game-breaker at all. I don't find a difference between it and the mini-gun.
  • The Natascha slows down my scout-ing. :(
  • The mobility nerf effect of Sandman and Natascha is very strong, as long as your teammates are good enough to take advantage of it.

    i figured out there are three things in this game that stop me in my Pyro/heavy/soldier kill everyone path.

    Andrew's: Sniper
    P_TOG'S: Scout
    Vicious: Spy.

    You three can die in a freaking fire :-p

    Obviously I want them on my team :-p

  • Because I doubt that there is an option for giving all weapons to everyone I would give my vote towards vanilla weapons only. I know it sucks to loose flaregun, but I think that is sacrifice that should be done to make it as even competition as possible.
  • Yeah, I don't think you miss too much with only the standard weapons.
  • To whichever team wants me, I am probably best as midfield defense, flag chaser, and asshole scout in that order.

  • Someone take charge. We need at least two team captains. I defer to others, but will join the first real team whose recognized captain asks. =P

    Determine the number of teams then hold a draft in secret between captains. Post the roster a couple days before the first matches.

    Best idea.

    I'd suggest either two or four teams. We can expand later. The key is just to get this going for rils.

  • I think 4 teams would be optimal.

    I can be captain if anyone wants to fight under my Flag.

    Id suggest Andrew, Vicious and Jason as the other 3 captains.
