Possibly but it seems to be a preventative at this stage. There are many and have been many pharmaceutical approaches to Alzheimer's and age related dementia (everything from proteins from goat brain's in a pill to drugs which improve the ability for RBCs to move through capillaries in the brain).
Hopefully they will produce something which is side effect free to trial on higher order animals.
Probably lots of people here are already familiar with this, but this explanation is just too good not to share.
And if you are not familiar with Tom Scott, I would highly recommend his channel and particularly his series on Computer Exploits, Language and "Things you might not know", though "Citation needed" is also a great bit of comedy.
I would play a Citation Needed home game. Sure I could rig something up, but an app with some kind of scoring and Mystery Biscuits would be worth real monies.
