  • Ok, being friends with you guys on Game Center is not motivating me right now.
  • Am I the only one that hits obstacles on purpose to slow myself down, making the game easier?

I figured that in the 10 minutes I've played the game. It can also fuck you over though sometimes.

I don't think you can get beyond 3000m without doing that.
  • Also Scott I think I sent you a friend request? I assumed your username was just "apreche" so that's what I sent it to.

    Shhhhhhhh

I don't think I'm cracking 18,000. At least not today, but I gave it good college try.
  • 1. This game is awesome. I love the unexplained back story.

    2. Falling satellites are easy to avoid as you hear them coming one building away. Just make sure you land close to the front edge of the next building and you can time your jump no problem.

    3. Windows are a really fun challenge. I've mostly cracked them now.

    4. The disappearing buildings are still a bitch because it's so tricky to land where they are going to be. I've worked out what to do so they don't kill me but I've not practiced enough to get past them each time.

    5. Stop complaining.

    6. I'm lukeburrage on game center if anyone wants to be my friend.

    1. Yes.
    2. No.
    3. No.
    4. No.
    5. I hate you.
    6. k.

    ... oooooohhhh.

I had the game muted, and played my own music on top of it, because I grew bored of the song after 5 minutes.
  • The worst part about practice runs in the 5-7k range is that I just can't seem to get back to 10k.
  • I dislike this game but I will play it all week.
  • I feel like you could break this game (at least on iOS) by abusing the pause button.

    Go for it.

Scott will choose progressively shitty, increasingly hated games. This is all an elaborate troll.

If only that were true. Maybe next time.
  • I think next time it should go from simple controls (E.T.) to mind-numbingly complex (Steel Batallion) to just prohibitively stupid (Space Camp Space Shuttle Simulator).
  • Definitely gonna play this on my iPad. iPhone is kinda butt because my fingers get in the way.

I think you mean Steel Batallion: Heavy Armor, where half the time the controls don't work. That is the true test.
  • If I wanted to be evil, it would just be something like NES Silver Surfer, etc.

No, you have to build to that. Troll slow, troll gentle, troll that they don't know what your game is. They start to trust you, to believe in you.

You don't begin with Silver Surfer. You end with Silver Surfer.
  • Silver Surfer is not one of the games.

  • For the 1 person that hasn't seen it.
  • I Wanna Be The Guy would make a great choice for a bit of trolling while going for a serious test, although the hard part would be to establish a way of scoring it.
  • Furthest in one week.

On the hardest difficulty, of course (i.e. no save points). The only issue is how you would measure distance along different paths, though the easy answer is to standardize the route.

    Out of context, I'm confused.
  • New conspiracy theory: Dromaro actually has a crazy high score on iOS and is sandbagging on Kongregate.

Don't fall for it, he's good at that game.
  • Whiskey - Check
Audiobook (Under the Dome - Steven King) - Check
Canabalt + fully charged iPhone - Check.

    Night sorted.
