  • 10810 after a few hours.
  • WINDOWS! My current high score is less than 2k right now...
  • I got 4800ish. Still working on it.
  • I am Neocloud09 on game center if anyone is interested. I am hoping to get some time on on this game over the weekend.

I Wanna Be The Guy would make a great choice for a bit of trolling while going for a serious test, although the hard part would be to establish a way of scoring it.
Don't fall for it, he's good at that game.
I won't deny that was part of my motivation, hehe. I stand by it as a good choice, though.

I would support that if there really were an easy way to score it. Something like who can pass more screens without dying could work, but it would require everyone to be able to someway capture their play.

  • 18,393 meters. Good luck, y'all.
    Beat that one. Easy.

I think you should take a break Luke.

I really need to step up my game to be able to get some points out of this round.

  • I can barely get past 1200, although I do have awhile longer to practice.
  • Trick to developing these sorts of skills for me is play play play, rest rest, play play play.
  • Played it for about 15 minutes at a bar while waiting for dinner. Managed to get a lucky run up around 8600. Personally, I dislike the robots that take out buildings much more than the windows.
  • PC version provides much more accurate control. It's way easier to do shorthops when you need to. It's still very possible on iOS but the contact time between doing a short hop and a long hop is much narrower.
  • If I make it past 1k in a run, I start getting in the zone. It seems that if I let up my focus for a second, though, a window comes out of nowhere and I try to jump to the top of the building, hitting a wall. Still need to train myself to not do that.

I've been fucked over by a couple of windows on some good runs. My best so far ended because I went from a really high building to a low window. Those kinda things are bullshit because you need to jump and fall as much as you can down the gap to actually make it into the window. I had just tried to fall off the building to make it but they guy didn't fall fast enough. Luckily that is the only time I've experienced that much of a disparity between building height and window height.

  • I've tried the PC version, but it's hard to get used to how much narrower the vertical field of view is. I think I'll stick to the iPhone version.

I can usually get to around 3k, but I keep getting tripped up by a window or a platform that is too short.

True, I would also say it doesn't run as well because flash kinda blows.

Fuck. FUCK. I just did 7.900m on kongregate, refreshed to see my score reflected on the rankings but... it did not.

I died because of a window. I BROKE the window, but still didn't get into the building.

  • Screenshot your high scores as well
  • The iOS version has a 1 week "friends only" scoreboard, so I figure I'll just screenshot that at the end.

I will screenshot that as well, but I figure since there are about 7 or 8 people on that board, it speaks for itself?

Ie if we all add Apreche, then he has our scores. Done.

  • Even if you are using the GameCenter method of providing evidence, you must still email in your score, as per the directions.
  • Oh, hey! It can be downloaded. I think I'm going to go with that since Flash lags me into bullshit deaths on occasion.

    32424m (Android version)

I'd have kept quiet, but there's no point since it's already on the online high score table. I think the mobile version may be easier than the desktop one by more than I thought.

That's more than the all-time record on kongregate. What the fuck. If that's because of the difference between versions, PC players are fucked.

  • You people are insane. This is why we can't have nice things. Round 2 will teach you a lesson.

Yeah Scott, blame all the people instead of yourself.

  • Luke and I are already in top 5% all-time on iOS. So what this means is that FRC forum people are part of the ivory tower of gaming.
