Just realized. Special card, I don't know wtf to do.
One totem on the table is the "primary" totem. Any time an arrow or hand card is the source of a duel, that is the only totem that matters. However, knocking any OTHER totem over in the course of responding to a special is a foul.
I could see some sort of arrangement where everyone has a personal totem and there is one communal totem.
Found out that some people in my car are now unable to get out of Thursday work, so won't be pulling in to Boston until midnight. I had plans to meet up with several different people on Thursday, so I'm about to go price out bus/train from NY/NJ area and see if it's worth paying a 1-way to have another half day of fun. How is everyone else getting to PAX East?
Edit: Looks like Amtrak is $49, Boltbus $15. Money is not a huge concern here so I think I'm going Amtrak. I got work to pick up the cost of my room. In return of course, I have to do some work during PAX (fun work, but still work), so it makes me want to have Thursday night fun even more.
I have done zero research into eating around the BCEC, but it turns out that Boston Restaurant Week is running March 6-11, 13-18 (the 12th is optional so varies by restaurant). There is one restaurant very close to the BCEC: http://www.barlowsrestaurant.com/
Here is the deal for all restaurant week locations: 2-course lunch for $15.11; 3-course lunch for $20.11, and 3-course dinner for $33.11.
On that note, I ordered a third badge on the assumption that my younger brother would be interested; he has since declined (I know, it is madness.) Upshot is: I have a spare badge. Anyone interested?

Has everybody else received their badges yet? I haven't received mine, and I'm starting to worry that Columbia's mail services have lost it because of the weird way Columbia makes you write your student mailbox address.

Well, guys. I JUST found out that I'll be able to go to PAX East. I don't have any hotel reservations and I don't have any tickets registered. Will I still be able to attend?

There are no 3-day passes left. They only have Friday and Sunday passes left. I suggest you buy a full weekend pass second-hand from somebody who has an extra, or realized they couldn't go. That's really your only hope.
As for hotel, your best bet is to mooch off someone else who already has a reservation. All the hotels that are anywhere close to the convention are completely sold out, and have been for many months. You will have to get a hotel room on the other side of town, and take some sort of transportation back and forth. It will not be so pleasant or convenient.
We say this over and over again, and we mean it. There are enough people who are ready, willing, and able to plan for conventions a year in advance to completely sell them out. If you are not one of these people who can plan so far in advance, you will basically have a horrible time, or no time at all, if you ever want to go to a big popular convention such as Otakon, PAX, SDCC, etc.

OHSHI-

Then I jizzed in my pants, but that's not as important.

ScoJo, I think is looking for people to share a room with, possibly ColdGuy and YoshoKatana.
