As I stated in the Fail of the Day Thread, I was going to get my long hair chopped off in order to make the prospects of getting a job better (at least thats what my parents told me), I had a small row with them about this, but I finally acquiesced to their demands.
I'm rather disappointed with the final result since my long hair made me...well...me.
To put it into perspective, here is what I looked like Pre-hair murder.
Now here is what I look like now, post-hair murder.
The hairdresser told me that it would take 2 years for my hair to grow back to the way it was before.
I don't care much for money right now, because I'm not at the point to where it is tantamount to other things (rent, tuition, bills, etc). I really don't like my haircut and I cannot wait for 2012 when I can get it back.
I can see why; it's a beautiful place. I'm definitely coming back some day, because I'm pretty sure I only scratched the surface in the week I spent there.
That's a place called Dumbo, which stands for Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass. It's an interesting little area, and I was there to watch a show. I'll go back though, for sure, to take some more photographs.

And now I'm homesick.
