[Jerking off over Akira's excessively detailed background shot that you barely see.]
I'm actually generally really opposed to this sort of thing. What is it they say, (or someone said, anyway) "detail is the refuge of the weak"? There are times when a lot of detail is warranted, but a cityscape that you see as a tiny sliver onscreen for a few seconds is not one of them. It adds nothing to the storytelling, but it adds tons to the budget and production time. If you really want to impress me, don't impress me with how long you chained your background artists to their desks -- impress me with how good your story is, how full of life your character animation is, how much your backgrounds convey the sense of the place, rather than how many windows are in that skyscraper way over there. Don't get me wrong -- Akira is an incredible film, but that background shot doesn't have anything to do with why.
Link requires referrer spoofing to work. I used the RefControl addon for Firefox. EDIT: Also, 700 first try followed by 748. EDIT2: 860. That'll do for now.
Not really. All I have to do is right-click on the link (or the site), set the referrer setting, and then go to the link (or refresh). Plus, that referrer setting gets saved for later. 10921102.
