Personally I found the Red Alert series somehow more interesting, accessible and entertaining than the original. But to answer Scott's question: Why the hell not? The original series is still ongoing. GTA is certainly one of the worst examples you could pick, you know, with Vice City, San Andreas and the PSP games.
Lost in Space - What really happened to Russia's missing cosmonauts? An incredible tale of space hacking, espionage and death in the lonely reaches of space.
I went to my local library while waiting for my car at the shop. I hadn't been by there in a while, and I live in a tiny town, but I saw something that was awesome:
This was by far the last thing I expected to see when I walked into the library. I didn't even know anyone in this town knew what Ubuntu was, much less running it on library computers. You also may see that it's running OpenOffice, which is in itself awesome.
Anyway, this may not be amazing to you, but it was a shocker to me.
Edit: Sorry about the picture size, but I don't remember any sizing commands for an img tag off hand. If anyone wants to throw one at me, I'll edit it.

I edited your post for you. Take a look at it, and you will see how stupidly easy it is.

God dammit. I was pretty close, but I didn't know that width would scale is correctly.

Thanks, it's been years since I've used HTML.
Any width will scale correctly. You can do width or height, but you will only break the aspect ratio if you do both at the same time. Let's say an image is 200x100. If you change the width to 100, the browser will automatically change the height to 50.
You just have to pick a width that will fit in most people's browser windows considering the page you are on. Most people have screens that are 1024px wide or more. You have to subtract for the scrollbar, the sidebar on the left of the page, etc. 500px wide I've found is plenty for most images. If the image is easily visible with fewer pixels, no reason not to make it smaller. You can always make a link to the full-sized image.
Just Looking not really the video itself but more this (Imagine Steve Irwin, or one of those British documentary narrators speaking):Here we see "...the NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), and the most reclusive of the recluses, the hikikomori. Most believe that these groups’ refusal of social participation stems from their lack of social skills. The hikikomori almost never socialize with other people and prefer to spend their time in their bedrooms, completely locked away from the world. The total numbers of NEET and hikikomori may have been overestimated in the past, but they do exist to some extent and are mostly male." aside from the fact that the rest of this is horribly creepy, those lines I just found to be really funny.
I have two things that just made my day - I'm walking up to my local shop for some stuff, and head into the blockbuster, humming "still alive" to myself, listening to my ipod on shuffle - but lo and behold, while I'm in mid hum, the song clicks over from hilltop hoods to....Still alive. I sung it loudly walking up the street.
Second thing - I'm idly flicking through a Facebook group with motivational posters, and I come across a motivational poster -
Why did this make my day? It happens to be one of my good mates, Daniel -
Well I already posted a thing of the day, but there is no way I couldn't post this up here. Guitar Hero + Mario Paint = awesome. (And Through the Fire, and the Flames non the less. ^.^)

Tip, go read this 30 page topic from start to end. Sure, it will take a while, but you won't be reposting stuff that has been posted months before. And you'll laugh your ass off.
EDIT: Woooot, Viga sucks And I should've reloaded the page before posting.

It is my silent protest against the huge flaw in the board coding. Avatars are supposed to be 32 by 32 pixels. Sure, they are cut at a width of 32px, but not at a height of 32px, when that's only one extra sentence in the CSS.
That, and I need to stop being lazy and make the bottom transparent.

It's not a problem in the css, but in vanilla itself that adds avatar support. I'll fix it one of these days.
