This is the part they couldn't automate?
Why they gotta be so mean to the robots? Making them do all the work.... I just wanna be friends with one.
  • Depends on who he murdered. If I think it was justified, hellz yeah I'd help him hide the body.
Same here. Depends on how much I liked them at the time. Also, it depends on how much sex I'm getting from the guilty party.

  • Nobody gets special exceptions because I personally know or like them, and I have no right to determine if an act of violence was justified. I'd turn in my family, my girlfriend, even Carl Sagan if they murdered somebody. I'd be there for them, but murder isn't something that goes away, and helping them will only make it worse.
  • In the last few weeks I've had one of my students move their lesson to half an hour later.

Today I found it was due to the lesson conflicting with the airing time of One Piece.

  • Guess my girlfriend doesn't really love me...

Oh, I totally agree. Nobody has the right to do it. If I get caught, I should be punished.

    Doesn't mean I ain't gonna do it.
  • Here's a question: How many muder/homicide cases go unsolved? Is there a real chance of getting away with it, even if your partner was careful?
Over 30 percent go unsolved in the US on average it seems. If you are smart about it you can probably get away with it.

Sorry, murdering is against my values. If you become murderous, that will be an issue. I would do conjugal(sp?) visits and bring you tasty snacks in jail though :-P

I guess I should let you know I will have a 3-factor balancing test in my decision of whether or not to help you hide a body.

    1. Was the killing justified?

    2. How likely is it you will not get caught? (If you are on camera chopping a guy up, no amount of my help is getting you out of this one so why should I go down with you?)

    3. Is my friend who owns a pig farm home?

Sex does not play a role in the decision-making. :P

And how many murders are just missing person reports?

Not only is Epic Mickey 2 being made, but it's going to have co-op where you can play as Mickey with his paint/thinner or Oswald with his own special abilities (possibly including lightening powers, for some reason) AND it's going to be a musical. It's also coming out on all of the consoles and rumours are pointing towards the 3DS version being different from the rest of them. I has an excite.

  • Shame you wont have much funding.
  • Man, Secretary of Space sounds like a boring job. I mean, there's nobody out there to even take calls for.
  • I'd take the title just so I can start every introduction with I'm _____, Secretary of Space.
  • A man flies by flapping wings like a bird. I am finding the article and what the guy did less interesting than how divided people are on this being fake or possibly real. It seems the "possibly real" side has some high profile individuals, such as Jamie Hyneman, while the "obviously fake" side seems to be made up of hang gliders and engineers.

I just imagine that she has the confidence in your intelligence to be able to figure out how to dispose of a body without her intervention. Even though she's already said otherwise.

I definitely think it is fake. Hackaday had some good images proving it.

Granted, I'm not an engineer, so I can't say for sure that this is fake, but it certainly feels like it.
  • Probably fake, largely down to the amount of energy required to lift stuff in general into the air.

I'm no professional, but I doubt the video is fake, and I think the flight itself is gimmicked. Damned if I know how, though.

I think if you can do a lot of pull ups you'd have the required arm strength to lift your body weight into the air.

That's right guys. If Icarus can do it so can you!

No, seriously though that looks faked.

  • I just watched the video. No way is that anywhere near real.
  • I don't want to continue continue to derail this thread about murder talk (who am I kidding, I totally do) but you all seem to be going about testing your loved ones the wrong way. The way to test your loved ones is obviously to coat your arms in (fake) blood, then to enter their house very upset, claiming you cut up a robber.

As for me, I think I'd take the fall for my loved one in that situation.

New graphics card. Looks like I got the Rainbow Dash edition.
    image
Runs in tandem with my motherboards 4000 series (Mostly so I can use it's VGA output.). It's not Crossfire as a task will work on one or the other, so I could watch GPU accelerated video while playing a game if I really wanted to.

A quick stint of Mirror's Edge makes me feel kinda weird. I'm just not used to a frame-rate this smooth. It will take some getting used to.

Quick game of Battlefe.. holy crap, this is what games look like?!
