Let's also remember I have an autoimmune problem where my immune system attacks my intestines. (And possibly also arthritis, yay! It runs in the family.) I'd rather it not get better at that.
Actually, it's just getting better by making antibodies towards all sorts of foreign stuff; your immune system's ability to mount a response (assuming the right diet and stuff) is pretty static save for those factors. It shouldn't affect either of those conditions one way or the other, unless you're eating your own joints and intestines. But that seems pretty unlikely.
On a related note, I've been behind on The Colbert Report and I have mentioned that Maurice Sendak was on there a few weeks/months ago.
I recently watched the April 24th episode and saw Stephen Colbert pimping his new book I am a Pole and So Can You. It was a bit amusing seeing Stephen Colbert talk about Sendak just weeks before his death.
My favorite part was the interview with Dame Julie Andrews. I won't ruin it for you, but the entire bit starts around the 5:00 mark. The 8:20 mark is where I cried from laughter.
Also the interview with the Norwegian chess player was pretty great too.
Went to see the Avengers tonight, while standing in line my group was behind David Blaine. Who just started doing card tricks for us. It was crazy to watch in person. The man is some sort of wizard.

Suffice it to say, if you are tickled by conga-rats, Adventure Time might kill you.

And for my thing of the day is the entire episode of The Colbert Report.
