For those who haven't noticed - Steam has a new feature. Go to a friend's profile, games, then the all games tab, there's now a checkbox labeled "Filter for games with both own", which does what it says on the team.
Let me also throw out there that I've always loved how Peter Jackson portrays Hobbit women. I normaly prefer tall women but if they dressed and had the attitudes of Hobbits, I could get on board.
The new Board James. Not quite as good as Mr. Bucket, but it's damn close.
That said, I think I might personally like this one better because I owned this game as a little girl, so the nostalgia burns hard for me on this one. Receiving it for Christmas is one of the strongest "awesome gift" memories that I have since I remember being so excited by the commercials for the game and couldn't believe my parents had actually gotten it for me.
I dropped the phrase "Beyond Candyland" in my Studies in Literacy Class as we were talking about "The Art of Game Design - A Book of Lenses." People nodded along as I said it.
