I love seeing OCs. Gomidog, are you planing on posting the full shot of the kelsbok on your character? It's looking lovely so far. Uglyfred, the detail in the hair and drapery is really nice. I also love the flowers on the belt. Freeman, thats an awesome duo!
I'm glad people are liking the comic. I should have the next page done by next week I imagine (each page will have two comics, except first ones of "periods" like this first one.)
@Mankoon Your moe drawing kind of frightens me. It was better then I was expecting to see.
@Harry - Nice work. =3 @Zeehat - He just accidentally put too much smudging on him, I assume. It's hard to clean that stuff up without either a) darkening the whole picture or b) screwing up with the lines.
Wanted topost a link to the first comic pageof my little 4 panel comic thing. I'm calling it Casual since it seemed like a good name for it. I did the typical 4 panel comic chapter page thing and drew like a pin up and put it next to the first comic.
This comic made my day! I am looking forward to the next one. Thanks for sharing this.
because Katsu and I were talking. It was probably around 3 hours.
What I got done in those 3 hours: Staff Sergeant Toshiro Tsubaki and Suzu Tsubaki
Staff Sergeant (ret.) Toshiro Tsubaki is a metahuman (Homo sapiens ingentis) retired member of the Imperial Japanese Marine Corps, 4th Kure Special Naval Landing Force, 31st Marine Battalion, nicknamed the Sen-Ma (Thousand Demons). Growing up in the squalor and danger of the Yomi Island concentration camps, a young Toshiro grew up smashing heads and not taking names. His life would have likely been short, violent, and brutish if he had not been selected to be a recruit in the newly formed Yokai Battalion; it instead turned out somewhat longer, more violent, and interesting. Theaters of deployment: Korea, Peru, Philippines After completing his tour of duty, Toshiro was honorably discharged and moved to Seattle Metroplex in the UCAS. Once there, he went through the necessary documentation and opened a small hobby shop. The shop, called The Lone Wolf's Cart, is located at the confluence of Yakuza, Mafia, and Triad territories. The fact that he is a retired Imperial Marine, a troll, and is actually licensed to own and use all of the guns he has in the store (much to Lone Star and Knight Errant's chagrin), keeps the local gangs on their good behavior. Either that, or the fact that he is a metahuman, from a nation known for its rabid racism against metahumans (what with the whole "exile to the Island of Yomi" concentration camp thing), who declares without sarcasm or irony his loyalty to Japan and pride in having fought in His Imperial Majesty's Service, and has lots of heavy weaponry and knows how to use them.
Toshiro is one of the 47 Marines to complete a tour of duty with the Battalion, out of the original 1000. These fanatically loyal warriors believe that the Great Spirit of Yamato has some purpose for them in the future, and will not allow them to die before that destiny is fulfilled. The 47 Ronin, as they call themselves, have spread to various corners of the Earth, assured in the knowledge that when the time is right, Yamato shall call for them.
Suzu Tsubaki is a human (Homo sapiens sapiens) and Toshiro's adopted daughter, picked up during the Sen-Ma's deployment in the Philippines. She has begun exhibiting signs of magical ability and takes Mahou Shojo manga, and her Mandate of Righteousness, far too seriously; a combination which does nothing to help Toshiro's headaches or acid reflux. She has already been reprimanded several times by Officer Katherine Hunt for "Unlicensed Magical Girl Activity".
@gomidog- Moe isnt my style. I made the art in that style purely for moe Scrym! I was thinking of Travis Touchdown in No More Heroes. He grabs his Moe poster and whispers "Moeeeeeeeee.......". Those girls had those big circular eyes. I do have a deviant art. My name is mishinsilo. @Harry haller- that disturbed me but I still laughed a lot! @Katsu- "Unlicensed Magical Girl Activity" <--That is pretty funny. Also, I imagined you're character surrounded by alpaca in Peru. They would be nibbling on his gun and sneezing on him... It's a funny site to see! @Ametto- Hurray! for more MOE SCRYM!! I'm so happy you threw the Microphones in there too. They look like cute little news reporters.
This thread has become compelling. Why Scrym Moe girls are the most erotic thing I have seen in years might be a question only The Gay Thread can answer.

GhostNights, heh heh.
My scanners pretty garbage, so it didn't pick up a lot of this sketch. I had to keep on sharpening it in Paint.NET to make it at least visible.

Ok, one more moe scrym added to the collection!
