Jason, would you please send me some marble? I'll be your friend and send you some crystal.
All three of my ships are out making pizza deliveries. Er, marble deliveries. I can't afford to hire one more. Otherwise, I would pack your pretty pink mouth with so much marble you'd be the envy of every Jerry and Jane on the block.

I don't believe you. You're cyber-bullying me again, aren't you?
I'm thinking I'm going to give up on this game. It's getting boring and tedious.
You're a right bastard, aren't you? I wouldn't have wasted all of my time with this stupid, bollocksy game if it hadn't been for you. You're staying in until the bitter end, laddie.
I have an attack heading my way in 11 hours. No idea where it is coming from and I can't imagine why someone would send a fleet 11 hours out just to get little old me?
I have enough gold for a colony but not enough wood.

I think I have you beat. Someone is willing to wait 12 hours to attack me. I am currently using some of my fresh Marble to bulk up my wall, then my warehouse. I'll recruit some soldiers when they get closer.
One of my island mates was pissed off of my constant raids so he sent ten swordsmen. I held him off with my four phalanx but I fear he will attack again...
I think I found a loophole. If an attacking force is headed your way just load up all your "lootable" goods and ship them to a distant city. After you lose the battle cancel the shipment.

Hmmm... expanding your trading port has barely any use. Okay, you take a few minutes longer to load your boats, but that barely matters on the trips that take several hours. It's not like they cost anymore once they're in the water.
I had destroyed my trading port for a blockade was on its way. Resulted in two sea battles, his two ballista ships against my three. I lost two, he lost two. I won both. I'll keep the Trading port at level one now.
That could be another loophole. If you don't have a port can they raid you?
They can. They will only be able to steal 60 things though. Though they can't block you if you don't have a port, and if you then have a lot of warships they basically can't attack for your ships keep them away. Unless of course they get a lot of warships too.
I have built my first colony on a Marble island. I think I'm getting the hang of this.
This game only requires a lot of time when you start, afterwards the amount of resources needed to advance are so high that you will have to max out your workers and just ignore the game for days on end.
You can put some extra supplies on the ships as you send them out, but not much. It also takes about 4 hours for everything to be finished. The game gets kind of confusing as you need to switch between cities and transport supplies between them. One good thing though is you get to build another academy, which stacks on to your old one.
While I was out today I ran out of money and all my military units left me. I'm going to guess it had to do with that raid that came my way but I don't see any news about the battle???
