Over the past 12 months, we have witnessed an unprecedented assault on our personal liberties. This assault has not come from some foreign power, but from our own tyrannical government.
On Tuesday, January 19, a special election will be held in the state of Massachusetts to choose a new US Senator to replace Ted Kennedy. The results of this election could well decide our nation's future.
Until now, Democrats have had filibuster-proof majorities in both the House and Senate, thus allowing them to ram through their socialist agenda, in spite of what the American people want. But the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts could give Republicans the critical 41st vote needed to stop the Democratic supermajority in the Senate.
Brown opposes the government takeover of our health care system. He opposes giving terrorists constitutional rights and cap-and-trade legislation. Brown's election would not only derail the terrible health 'reform' bill, but much of the rest of Obama's agenda.
Up until this week, Brown's election was not even considered to be a remote possibility. The seat has been in Democrat hands for nearly 60 years. But recent polls show that Brown has closed the gap and appears to now be in a statistical tie with his opponent.

Well I would assume that 2010 will be a hard year for the democrats anyhow, it's rare for a party to gain seats when they have so many anyhow, however the amount of republicans resigning will cause a lot of seats to be contested so it should be interested.

The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt. And I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties. I realize that a few Members of each House are trustworthy, but, as a group they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation. In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election; all 435 of them. One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election. Vote every incumbent out. And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents. Let's make them understand that they work for us... They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense. Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out. We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.

Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting ! street -to-street and house-to-house.

This bill was introduced on February 24, 2009, by the Obama staff. BUT, this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all. Trust Obama? You must be kidding!

Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar as a 'minor' IRS revision, and, as usual, the 'political' lawmakers did not read this bill before signing and approving it!
To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Goggle HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.
Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless: 1) It is registered 2) You are fingerprinted 3) You supply a current Driver's License 4) You supply your Social Security number 5) You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
Each update change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25. Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.
There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from cessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 years in prison.

Let's say I was elected to council and a sizable portion of the borough came to me and asked me to pursue speed bumps on a street that a large amount of council wouldn't agree with. If they did a good job presenting their reasons and the plan had some merit I might even vote for it to show support for the people who raised the issue but I already would know that it would not pass. Fellow Americans,
Please know: I am Black; I grew up in the segregated South. I did not vote for Barack Obama; I wrote in Ron Paul's name as my choice for president. Most importantly, I am not race conscious. I do not require a Black president to know that I am a person of worth, and that life is worth living. I do not require a Black president to love the ideal of America.
I cannot join you in your celebration. I feel no elation. There is no smile on my face. I am not jumping with joy. There are no tears of triumph in my eyes. For such emotions and behavior to come from me, I would have to deny all that I know about the requirements of human flourishing and survival - all that I know about the history of the United States of America , all that I know about American race relations, and all that I know about Barack Obama as a politician. I would have to deny the nature of the "change" that Obama asserts has come to America .
Most importantly, I would have to abnegate my certain understanding that you have chosen to sprint down the road to serfdom that we have been on for over a century. I would have to pretend that individual liberty has no value for the success of a human life. I would have to evade your rejection of the slender reed of capitalism on which your success and mine depend. I would have to think it somehow rational that 94 percent of the 12 million Blacks in this country voted for a man because he looks like them (that Blacks are permitted to play the race card), and that they were joined by self-declared "progressive" whites who voted for him because he doesn't look like them..
I would have to wipe my mind clean of all that I know about the kind of people who have advised and taught Barack Obama and will fill posts in his administration - political intellectuals like my former colleagues at the Harvard University 's Kennedy School of Government.
I would have to believe that "fairness" is equivalent of justice. I would have to believe that a man who asks me to "go forward in a new spirit of service, in a new service of sacrifice" is speaking in my interest.. I would have to accept the premise of a man that economic prosperity comes from the "bottom up," and who arrogantly believes that he can will it into existence by the use of government force. I would have to admire a man who thinks the standard of living of the masses can be improved by destroying the most productive and the generators of wealth.
Finally, Americans, I would have to erase from my consciousness the scene of 125,000 screaming, crying, cheering people in Grant Park, Chicago irrationally chanting "Yes We Can!" On Tuesday, January 19, a special election will be held in the state of Massachusetts to choose a new US Senator to replace Ted Kennedy. The results of this election could well decide our nation's future.
Until now, Democrats have had filibuster-proof majorities in both the House and Senate, thus allowing them to ram through their socialist agenda, in spite of what the American people want. But the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts could give Republicans the critical 41st vote needed to stop the Democratic supermajority in the Senate.
Brown opposes the government takeover of our health care system. He opposes giving terrorists constitutional rights and cap-and-trade legislation. Brown's election would not only derail the terrible health 'reform' bill, but much of the rest of Obama's agenda.
Up until this week, Brown's election was not even considered to be a remote possibility. The seat has been in Democrat hands for nearly 60 years. But recent polls show that Brown has closed the gap and appears to now be in a statistical tie with his opponent.

Noone is ready for the presidency, I'm sure President Obama's second year will go smoother (that is if his picks for different offices could actually get through congress). Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to
let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they
send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines
thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not
support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops
their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by
buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open.
I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that
doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting ! street
-to-street and house-to-house.

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun. This bill was introduced on February 24, 2009, by the Obama staff. BUT, this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all. Trust Obama? You must be kidding!

Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009.
Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar as a 'minor' IRS revision, and, as usual, the 'political' lawmakers did not read this bill before signing and approving it!
To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Goggle HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.
Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:
1) It is registered
2) You are fingerprinted
3) You supply a current Driver's License
4) You supply your Social Security number
5) You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
Each update change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25. Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.
There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from cessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 years in prison.
If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family pass this along.

If they did a good job presenting their reasons and the plan had some merit I might even vote for it to show support for the people who raised the issue but I already would know that it would not pass. This is how politicians represnt the people. If you don't understand this aspect you really don't know anything about process of politics.

Please know: I am Black; I grew up in the
segregated South. I did not vote for Barack Obama; I wrote in Ron Paul's name as
my choice for president. Most importantly, I am not race conscious. I do not
require a Black president to know that I am a person of worth, and that life is
worth living. I do not require a Black president to love the ideal of America.
I cannot join you in your celebration. I feel no elation. There
is no smile on my face. I am not jumping with joy. There are no tears of triumph
in my eyes. For such emotions and behavior to come from me, I would have to deny
all that I know about the requirements of human flourishing and survival - all

rejection of the slender reed of capitalism on which your success and mine
depend. I would have to think it somehow rational that 94 percent of the 12
million Blacks in this country voted for a man because he looks like them (that
Blacks are permitted to play the race card), and that they were joined by
self-declared "progressive" whites who voted for him because he doesn't look
like them..
I would have to wipe my mind clean of
all that I know about the kind of people who have advised and taught Barack
Obama and will fill posts in his administration - political intellectuals like
my former colleagues at the Harvard University 's Kennedy School of
Government.
I would have to believe that "fairness" is equivalent
of justice. I would have to believe that a man who asks me to "go forward in a
new spirit of service, in a new service of sacrifice" is speaking in my
interest.. I would have to accept the premise of a man that economic prosperity
comes from the "bottom up," and who arrogantly believes that he can will it into
existence by the use of government force. I would have to admire a man who
thinks the standard of living of the masses can be improved by destroying the

would have to erase from my consciousness the scene of 125,000 screaming,
crying, cheering people in Grant Park, Chicago irrationally chanting "Yes We
Can!" Finally, I would have to wipe all memory of all the times I have heard
politicians, pundits, journalists, editorialists, bloggers and intellectuals
declare that capitalism is dead - and no one, including especially Alan
Greenspan, objected to their assumption that the particular version of the
anti-capitalistic mentality that they want to replace with their own version of
anti-capitalism is anything remotely equivalent to capitalism.
So you have made history, Americans. You and your children have elected a Black man
to the office of the president of the United States , the wounded giant of the
world. The battle between John Wayne and Jane Fonda is over - and that Fonda
won. Eugene McCarthy and George McGovern must be very happy men. Jimmie
Carter, too. And the Kennedys have at last gotten their Kennedy look-a-like. The
self-righteous welfare statists in the suburbs can feel warm moments of
satisfaction for having elected a Black person.
So, toast
yourselves: 60s countercultural radicals, 80s yuppies and 90s bourgeois
bohemians. Toast yourselves, BlackAmerica. Shout your glee Harvard, Princeton ,
Yale, Duke, Stanford, and Berkeley. You have elected not an individual who is
qualified to be president, but a Black man who, like the pragmatist Franklin
Roosevelt, promises to - Do Something! You now have someone who has picked up
the baton of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. But you have also foolishly traded
your freedom and mine - what little there is left - for the chance to feel good.
There is nothing in me that can share your happy obliviousness. God Help Us all...
