  • I was thinking more the game. I have no idea of the books.
  • Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. One of the best worst movies ever. Also, how about episodes on movies or bands. Albums, maybe? Filk? Nerdcore?

That made me think. I don't remember there being GeekNights episodes about music. That could fill a Thursday or two and with little bullshit reasoning there could be music episode for every day of the GeekNights.
  • Batman anything! Just talk about your favorite Bat stories and shows. Or just an episode on Batman: Brave and the Bold.
  • I second Bat-Episode.
  • I also pledge my support to the Bat-Episode.
  • It's not the episode we deserve. Its the episode we need.

    Nope. We totally deserve it.
  • Can I have a second Geek Thunderdome episode? That would be neat.

  • I am getting pumped for MAGfest, which reminded me you guys did not cover Ice Cold Beer in an episode yet.
  • Are you guys going to put out the Redline review while Rym is in Japan?
  • Hi.

Searched for "kyoukai" and found a few responses. So, what about Kara no Kayokai The Garden of Sinners movies? Or am I missing something? It has music by Yuki Kajiura ;]

@Xefas Love your avatar. I like how he handles FlutterShy.
  • Skyward Sword.
  • Utena Final Thoughts.
  • Boku no Pico

Edit: I was gonna do a thing where I put the facebook like button in, but the CSS I stole wouldn't work =/

  • It would certainly be a weird show, but a Thursday about how Scrym would raise kids could be neat. More specifically, what policies and rules and junk would you have, especially regarding school, video games, computers, porn, etc.
  • Did I say Muppets before? If not do it! At least the new movie!
  • When surveillance cameras have legs.
  • When surveillance cameras have legs.
    Metal Gear?
  • Kindle!

    KIN-DLE KIN-DLE KIN-DLE
  • The new book Ready Player One.
  • Rosenkreuzstilette
  • You two should play Atom Zombie Smasher, it's made by Blendo Games (Gravity Bone.).
  • Locke and Key
    The Incal
    Skyward Sword
    Prometheus :)
  • Why not do an interview with Squarepainter? A NY resident that often goes to cons and impress people with his Pixel art. Bonus points if you manage to get Pixel Papa in on it too.

So you mentioned Dogs in the Vineyard in your Magfest Beyond D&D panel. I assume that it means that you have actually play it. And if you have played it why hasn't there been an Geeknights episode about it.

I would be quite interested of hearing your opinions about the Dogs more in depth rather than just badly explained vague explanation of the game mechanics.

Edit: Also there was a mistake in the panel. You can't choose between seeing and rising in Dogs, first you see your opponents rise and then it's your turn to rise.

Actually have you guys even played the game. For if you want to talk about great parts of the game a little mention towards the escalation system would have been nice and a lot easier to explain. I'm pretty sure that no-one listening your panel, who didn't know Dogs already, understood anything about your explanation about it's rules.

Haven't played it! Just read the rules once.
  • Haven't played it! Just read the rules once.
Then you should go and play it. Right now. I think that there is something fundamentally wrong in the situation where you try to get people into playing games that you haven't even played yourself. What if the on paper cool sounding rules would actually suck when brought to the table?
Play the dogs. It's a cool game.

"Dogs in the Vineyard is a game about young men who are given gun and a bible and they are sent to solve problems that should never be solved with gun and a bible." Something like this, said Vincent Baker in one interview in one podcast and I think that, that sentence is the best way to sell that game.
