What else is there that Rym thinks is worth reading? Seems like a pretty short show, since they already gave two of those their own shows.

If you think that comics begins and ends with the Big Two, then I guess that's your list.
  • Either Rym or Scott or both think Red Son is pretty shit, IIRC.

It was shallow. The idea was very interesting, but in execution it didn't do anything surprising, insightful, or interesting that I didn't immediately conceive myself just from know the basic concept.
  • Issue 1 of Red Son is great. It concentrates mostly on the what if Superman had been soviet?

Starting with issue 2 it becomes superhero extravaganza bringing in the rest of the DC universe. Ok, let's make it about what all these characters would be like if they were in this universe together and let's have them fight. Fanservice HOOOO!

  • No love for Batmankoff? Y'all can go fuck yourselves.

Show Idea: If you had infinity money for the purposes of developing a game, what would you make?

Hard Mode: Terminator survival MMO and Never Ending Star Wars Battles are off limits.

I wouldn't make a game, but I'd make a series of interlinked sci-fi games that were essentially part of one larger game. Sort of like combining Planetside 2 with EVE/Dust514 and the X-series, amongst other things.

  • I would buy Square Enix and Jupiter and force them to make TWEWY 2 for the 3DS.

I would then buy Ubisoft and get Beyond Good and Evil 2 back on track.

  • Know you guys don't often do recent movies, but I'd love a Pacific Rim show. It may not be the best ever, but it does have giant robots punching things, and I very much enjoy hearing you guys talk about robots punching things. Also, [insert your Pacific Rym joke of choice here].
  • I felt like that was going to be reviewed anyway. Maybe without Scott (who's been a but lately, apparently) but Pacific Rim seems Geeknights worthy.
  • Even better. Some of the best shows are Scott being a butt and Rym doing his Rym thing back at him, and if robots are involved, so much the better. All for the robutts, say aye.
  • Aye. Also, they could call the show Pacific Rym.
  • Oh fuck. Let's get this into production!
  • Dark Souls.
  • OK here is a better topic: Games that are HARD. Is it worth the fustration?

Dark Souls, FTL, Hotline Miami, Ninja Gaiden, Super Meat Boy,,,
  • For the book club book, why not try a light novel? Admittedly most books from this genre are trashy porny otaku bait, but I really think highly of this one series called "The Empty Boxes and the Zeroth Maria." Its hard to describe exactly what the story is about without spoilers but its essentially The Monkey's Paw mixed with some mystery. All of the volumes are translated and online with the last one not yet released.
  • LARP. I need something to laugh about.
  • Sustainability, population control, natural resources, lifestyle and the future of life on this planet. All one subject.
  • Book Club: Little Brother by Cory Doctorow
