Fucks! Yeah, broken class in a wet sink is invisible, as I also know from personal experience...
Also, this is why, if you are in a bar and you see a bartender scooping ice with the glass instead of an ice scoop, you should get get up and walk out right away.
Random - I don't know about you, but I always get the shakes real bad afterwards.
After the crisis is dealt with and I'm at home - oh yeah. Big time.
Guess I'm the exception, I walk away from near death driving experiences and say, "can we go again?" But my self assessment at work gives me a panic attack. :P
I'm more like you. Also, tachypsychia is really fun.
I once made an entire chain mail hauberk and coif, very much like the one pictured. It took me months, as I made each ring by hand, as well as all the linking. It's like knitting, in the relaxation way.
The wireless router that powers my Laptop and Xbox here is clearly down, but the problem is that it is in my roommate's room, that is locked and he is gone for the semester. It's possible for me to fix it, but the people of my Apartment Complex say that they need for HIM to call them and have them unlock the door and tamper with the router.

My rep (a democrat) voted against Net Neutrality. She received a harsh E-mail from me asking her to explain her actions. Wonder if I will get a reply. I definitely name dropped that I am a local democratic chairperson and I was very angry. We'll see how this goes. I usually like all her other stances...very disappointing.
Well, OK, I've learned plenty since I was twelve. I just can't shake the feeling that my education has left me completely unprepared for just about everything life is about to throw at me. I suppose it doesn't help that I don't have much to compare myself to beyond my deans-list, 3.8 GPA sister, but I feel like I don't know enough. Like I wasted way too much time doing everything but schoolwork.
I can't speak for everyone, but between myself and the people I've talked to about this it seems like that is a mental crisis that a lot of people go through.
School and college isn't meant to teach you anything. It's designed to occupy your time until you're old enough to be responsible for yourself. You'll learn how to do that when you get there.

School and college aren't supposed to teach you specific things that are useful (unless it is a trade school) but they are designed to teach you HOW to learn. If you fail to learn this it is your own fault as it IS possible to make it through without noticing this lesson (and many do).

Oh boy, I guess I'll just be an interventional neuroradiologist right now, then!

It's fun when people don't get education, and the fact that application is much better than memorization.
Man, I really shouldn't have thrown out my stuff from last year.
And then I accidentally one of my favorite pencils.
