I just read this, and have spent the last hour alternating between anger and sadness. I have so much to say on this, I really could write a book. Well, maybe a magazine. Alright, an article. Unfortunately, no one would read it and I am not a fan of hate mail.
I just lost a bunch of document files that contained data that pertained to a lot of stories that I've been developing for quite some time...ones that I absentmindedly forgot to make backups of. I'm enraged, sad, and frustrated that all that work is now gone.

When I first played Sonic Adventure 2, when Sonic started grinding rails, I was all, "Oh My GOD I want to be able to do that!" So I finally noticed all the advertisements for SOAP shoes in the game and decided, "DAMN, I NEED SOAP SHOES!"
Of course my parents said no, so I vowed that, when I became an adult, I would buy a pair of grinding shoes for myself.
Ten years later, I am an adult. I have the money to buy a pair of grinding shoes. NO ONE MAKES THEM ANYMORE.

Sonic remember that some (maybe most) childhood dreams are best when left unfulfilled. Now you can alway imagine how awesome those shoes would have been without knowing how much they actually suck.

Yeah, They're still around, and they still make the ones which are basically combo soap/heely shoes. In fact, I think the SOAP brand is now part of whatever company makes heelys.
I found somewhere else. And I found a few on e-bay, too, but obviously you might not be finding the right sizes there.

Yes, they were bought by Heelys. Yes, they did make a few different shoes with grind plates: the slide, the pro series, and one other one. The only one of those they still make is the Slide, so I might get that, but I'm kinda bummed that I can't get real Soap shoes. I actually called the number on the site to see if they had any back stock of Scorchers (the closest type to the ones Sonic wore), but I was told all the factories and warehouses are gone.

Yeah, and may I remind you that they don't ship Timmy Hortons coffee to Australia, as I sip a cup of the stuff. You know multiple people here in the UK who would be happy to do you a favor(most likely), if you had them sent there. Off the top of my head, Omnutia, WUB and Ampersand are all in the UK, and are all Bro enough Bros that it's worth asking.
Had I taught at the school where all that bullying was going on, I'd probably had been fired for jumping up during one of those horrible presentations and screaming a harangue at the assembled staff and students about what terrible people they were and why.

Somehow android thinks lowering screen density makes the screen smaller (seems counter-intuitive to me) so I accidentally screwed my tablet when trying to restore it to its original larger screen size.
