Brighthouse fucked up our internet changeover, so I'm without home internet today. Didn't think to change the useragent before tmobile caught on either.
I just love it when the design group changes due dates on orders and slides it through in such a way that no one is notified of the change until after the due date is missed and finger pointing starts.
This is an ongoing fail. Chris Dorner, an ex-LAPD officer who was dismissed in 2008 for a fellow cops violence against a schizophrenic, is the subject of a massive manhunt in LA. He's released a manifesto and is on the hunt for those he deems corrupt. So far, he's killed a cop, injured another, and is suspected for killing the daughter of the attorney who represented him when he was dismissed, and her fiance.
So based on the image, it looks like those two poor ladies delivering papers took roughly 20+ rounds of ammo to the back of the truck.
What's going on there, shoot first, question later?
Most cops have shitty fire discipline. Many of them subscribe to the "dump-your-whole-mag-as-fast-as-you-can-at-the-first-target-you-see" school of shooting.
It looks bad-ass at the range, but it's a stupid fething idea in the field.
Apparently, and I am not defending these cops, they had received a report the guy they were looking for was in their area and driving a pickup truck, and after witnessing this truck stop and start a bunch, they decided it was him and opened fire.

My room mate and his two buddies have decided to drink three 12 packs of beer and laugh like Hyaenas to internet videos in my room instead of the two other rooms they could have chosen.
OK so the guys I was telling you about left, and I went to the on base bowling alley to get a cheese steak. Turns out they now have their liquor license and they like me so I get some free shots (this turns out to be a bad Idea as they make me kinda sick). I get back to my room and their gone, but that doesn't last long. My room mate and one of his drunker friends show up at twelve o'clock at night to download Wreck It Ralph. And for the 20 minute download his friend figuratively and literally pokes at me while I very obviously try to watch something and tell him I'm tired and and nauseous, when I put on my head phones he yells at the side of my head. My room mate does nothing to reign his friend in the whole time, and then the download turned out to be corrupt. The buddy tell me "your gonna have to put up with me for another half hour" and then I tell him he's gonna have to leave... ten minutes later he's walking out the door and I'm the asshole.

The response of the LAPD? Shooting a look-a-like van and injuring two women delivering newspapers.
Timeline of events.

I'm wondering who taught these assholes to shoot, and what put those women at the top of the force continuum.
After any justifiable shooting an officer is put on desk duty for a period of time, the process must be more sever for something like this.
We should also pay our officers more, and simultaneously train them better / expect more out of them.
