The largest picture I can get is 200x190. I think if I blow that up to 370x390 it'll look too pixelated to be recognizable as me. Anyway, I already took a shitty 480x640 picture of me with my iPad, so at this point it's easier to just upload that then try to resize an already existing pic. This is definitely not good enough to be my go-to headshot. Gonna try to get one of those at CTcon this year doing a panel or something else relatively professional.
Oh Lord... life just keeps getting better. So it turns out I left the book I'm reading for reachback English in Hawaii, probably along with the rubric and prospectus for the essay that my term 3 grade teeters on that was due two weeks ago. In case that wasn't enough, I can't log onto the Student Information System that would tell me whether or not I can afford to lose this shit. FUCK!
EDIT: scratch that. There was just some stupidity going on in their login database. EDIT2 EDITLECTRIC BOOGALOO: Oh thank God, I can. Homework and projects are ~%60 of the grade, so since I have A+'s in those it carries my F's in the parts that require actual skill and mental capacity. I've never been in this caste of student before.
I'm not in a position to be asking for anything, right now, since I'm fairly certain she thinks I already did it. Also, if I can hold out until Friday without anything happening (including talking) there's a fairly good chance it'll get excused. That's what happened with the Given Day test, which kept my US History grade above a 40.
You use it when you have two short HDMI cables and need them to cover a longer distance, and you're too cheap to just buy another cable.
(Note: this is probably more expensive than another cable). The product page claims it also helps with signal degradation, but given that HDMI is digital...

The problem is not signal degradation, but attenuation. The signal often isn't "loud" enough to support that long of a cable, so you get a repeater such as this one and it'll go further (note that this requires an external power source). There are HDMI couplers on Amazon for $2.50 that would probably be fine for hooking up two 15-foot cables, but might start to have issues with longer cables, because they aren't actually repeaters.
I think I have some weird adaptor around here actually... ah right, a female to female vga to rca or whatever it is so I could get PS3 sound into my PC speakers while I use the HDMI for video out.
I wish the buses could become smart enough to plan a long distance trip for me; instead of me having to find the c and d stops between the A and B locations that I want to go.
My dad (lives in CT, between Boston & NYC) sees those buses all the time, he can confirm any stories you've heard about the drivers' general disregard for safety.

They've also been shut down by the Feds for poor maintenance as well.
So I thought today was normal, until Mr G recommended I go to the nurse. Apparently I'm too stressed for school. Made it through today, but staying home tomorrow.
So I was just driving onto the highway (or what qualifies for it where I live) this evening when I notice that the muffler of the car in front of me was sagging and coming dangerously close to dragging on the road. Unfortunately I had no good way of signalling the driver that this was the case. However, luckily enough we took the same exit. Unfortunately, all my attempts to get the driver to pay attention to me (light signals mostly) were ignored and of course the rudimentary search of the driver and her passenger inside the cabin about where the repeating clanging sound was coming from proved unsuccessful. In fact, shortly after exiting the highway the muffler in fact started dragging on the road, yet the person refused to simply halt at bus stop or wherever to inspect what the fuck was going on with her car.
Alas, she turned the corner into a residential area that would have led me too far off course and I gave up on the chase, expecting that she would stop at her house pretty soon anyway.
Snow, dangerous driving conditions, fighting, more fighting, a lockdown, police, kids thinking it'd be cute to try and assault police, kids climbing out of rundown during a lockdown, restraining a little 7th grade asshole outside in the snow who pushed his way outside and thought it was good fun, and the administration not once asking how anyone was or coming to check on anyone.
And I jammed my goddamned index finger.
This is why we should never arm teachers, because I'd have kneecapped a bitch, I swear to god.
Steam is doing something wierd and really annoying - It's pretending that I've uninstalled a heap of games that I KNOW I didn't uninstall. The files are all still there, it's just acting like they're not, until I tell it to install them.

So yes, in worst-possible-case scenario it's a $60 round trip if you leave Friday after work and return Sunday evening.
