TL;DR: don't buy steam keys from those obviously shady resellers. (Hint: they're all shady).
The problem is with the Humble Indie Bundle guys. They accepted 'stolen credit cards', which is to say, Amazon (who handles their payment) accepted them. They gave all the money to Steam, who generated Steam -keys for the humble bundle guys to distribute. Now some people who had their credit card stolen asked for refunds from Steam. Steam asked Unknown Worlds (NS2 guys) to finance that, and the Unknown Worlds guys said that people who don't have keys bought from them directly, or from steam directly won't get full support (Be that patches/tech support or some other kind of support).
I am down with this. We need some more serious people. You don't have to be super good, just good enough to follow orders from comm and at least get in the ballpark of a 1:1 kill/death ratio one-on-one against enemy grunts. ;^)

I can do this, but as an European, I cannot guarantee I'll be available at all times. New Your afternoon is my evening (6 hour difference). So late night will be a problem.
Today there was a marine killing all our eggs because when you bit him, he'd teleport away from you due to his ~300 ping.
Also, the marine bunny hopping around in circles need to be taken out. If marines lose energy sprinting, then jumping repeatedly shouldn't drain them fast too.
Commanded aliens on summit, got to two hives and the game sorta stalled as I was still having trouble with the controls so someone else took over and we won. Seriously, cyst placing needs real work, namely not letting you select the cyst button until it's cooldown is over.
I played a couple matches tonight. I got thinking about Gorge Tunnels. What happens if the entrances get destroyed while you're inside? Can you get trapped in it? Anybody wanna help me find out?
I played about 3-4 hours straight, commanding most of the time. The last game was awesome. I had so much res I just kept dropping exos, jetpacks and flamethrowers. In the end they got our main base, and a while after that got the power out in our 2 other bases. I tried to keep the remaining marines alive by spamming med packs for them. I have a macro so I can spam them incredibly fast. It turns out I spammed a few to many on one guy, and didn't have enough res to build the IPs when they got the power back up.
Marines building a stealth phase in the hive works well sometimes. If you're really well organised, you can tell everyone ahead of time to be ready, then beacon back to base to rush just as the phase completes.

Edit: Nexzil are going to try Arcing Archea!
One day Archaea will go down, but apparently that day was not today.

I kinda want to join a Japanese NS2 team.
Edit: Or I could spectate over Japanese replays.
