Think back to all those anime situations where the romantic tension is super high guy and the girl get really close to kissing but then something happens (friend walks in or they, themselves, abort) and they don't kiss.
But if there really was "tension", why would that happen six times without it actually *happening*?
Besides, feelings of "tension" are often one-sided.

I never said it was the perfect comparison, that's just the best thing I could come up with.
Well, it all depends on how comfortable your job is and the potential of the relationship.
I likened it to that, but it's not even a job so much as an organization I belong to, and the person still is in a position of authority. Also, there likely is very little potential. So I'm going to leave that one alone; there's still plenty of other opportunities.
Finally got around to swapping the motherboard in my FreeNAS machine from an old and fickle DFI ATI chipset motherboard to a old and reliable MSI nForce4 board I bought from a forum member. Now my file server no longer freezes when started from being cold and the gigabit LAN is 10MB/sec faster.
Really? How about theFlorida statute against exhibits which intimdiate? 876.19Exhibits that intimidate.—It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to place, or cause to be placed, anywhere in the state any exhibit of any kind whatsoever with the intention of intimidating any person or persons, to prevent them from doing any act which is lawful, or to cause them to do any act which is unlawful.
Stop doing just enough research to semi-support your point. Rym is correct in his interpretation of the current 1st Amendment protections with regard to inciting. The Florida statute is specifically about exhibits that "intimidate," which is probably specifically defined elsewhere in the text of the law AND probably doesn't extend to a demonstration with no specific statement of ill intent toward a person or group. For these laws to restrict your speech, you generally have to express specific and imminent threats or suggestions of incitement. Also, state statutes don't preempt the Constitution. The 14th amendment is still in action, at least for now.
I got my Major Organ and the Adding Machine LP in the mail, along with a DVD of the long-lost, finally-released Elephant 6 short film of the same name. Beyond stoked to finally see this.
Last week we saw a Florida Pastor – with 30 members in his church – threaten to burn Korans which lead to riots and killings in Afghanistan. We also saw Democrats and Republicans alike assume that Pastor Jones had a Constitutional right to burn those Korans. But Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer told me on "GMA" that he's not prepared to conclude that -- in the internet age -- the First Amendment condones Koran burning.
“Holmes said it doesn’t mean you can shout 'fire' in a crowded theater,†Breyer told me. “Well, what is it? Why? Because people will be trampled to death. And what is the crowded theater today? What is the being trampled to death?â€Â
WTF? Didn't United States v. Eichman and Texas v. Johnson already answer this question? Or is this going to hinge on Brandenburg v. Ohio with the rational that burning a Koran will lead to violence 'somewhere' in the world even if not local to the Koran burning itself?
EDIT: I realize this has been already discussed in this thread but now a member of SCOTUS is talking about it.
Seriously? Is everyone gonna do that but me? It seems like such a waste of my time. There's so many more things I'm gonna be worried about some week of classes that I'd rather focus on instead of nerf guns. If it was just for like, a day, or a weekend, that would be one thing. But this is ridiculous.

The problem many RIT freshmen seem to have with HvZ is that they take it too seriously. I knew of a few people who slept in the computing & information sciences building (you can't get killed inside) for the entire week to avoid making the dangerous walk back to the dorms. Don't do that.
Today when I got home after work I found a package for me. I was not expecting anything, but when I open it I found it was a pretty awesome Dragon Quest IX cap. Suffice to say that I will be wearing this for a long time
I feel brilliant, haven't slept since midnight and I went and walked two miles. I know what I want to set out and make right now and it's going to be awesome.
Finished 30 questions on a 50 question bio exam. Started to think I was unprepared. Upon answering question 31, everything clicked and I had crazy flow for the rest of the exam. I finished with 50 minutes left on the clock.

Good week, boys and girls.
