Veterans' benefits are great and you should take advantage of them if you can. Heck, my father-in-law is an Air Force vet and while that doesn't give me access to all the veterans' benefits available, I still was able to get USAA insurance for my home and car.
That said, my father-in-law's family does prefer to use non-VA health care where possible (my mother-in-law gets pretty good insurance through her job as a teacher), but they do greatly appreciate the ability to fall back on the VA health care if necessary (such as when my wife was born at a base hospital back before my mother-in-law was working as a teacher).
They sound like great friends of the newly Theocratic GOP! Zero LGBT and women's rights? CHECK! Death to non believers? CHECK! Celebration at the murder of innocents? MOTHERFUCKING CHECK!
Well, Limbaugh is a knucklehead. However, I find it No True Scottsman arguments being spun in the comments section of the NYTimes articles rather entertaining.
$20 says there is never a retraction, he never admits to being wrong, and defends the LRA on at least one other occasion because as long as 'Lord' is in the word, he assumes it must be Christian and therefore correct. Another $20 says he thinks they were an extension of the Salvation Army.
The fact that Herman Cain is a serious contender in this primary gives me a great deal of hope. He's a ludicrous laughingstock of a candidate. A joke. A hilarious historical footnote at best. Yet the current Republican base considers him a legitimate candidate for President of the United States of America.
Cain should make his entire platform SimCity-based. Redistrict the west coast into nothing but industry, east coast into one massive commercial district, and everything between into residential. Connect all buildings via light rail to reduce unemployment AND pollution.

It will work beautifully if he uses the "No Disasters" option.
I just constantly used cheat codes. I wrote Obama trying to tell him to just type "It is a good day to die" to keep troops from dying in Afghanistan but it doesn't seem to have worked.
@Andrew The best part is that song I believe is from an H game called "My girlfriend is the president." I love that they took the happy skippy theme song and put actual people in it.

Rick Perry's wife says their family has been 'brutalized' by job losses because their banker son quit his job once.
EDIT:
Obama will likely, and easily, turn the OWS fury on the Republicans.
This is who the Lord's Resistance Army is.

I'm really hoping that Rush is an independent actor and not a marker of the baffling insanity that seems to exist in this country.
EDIT: HAHA NEVERMIND.
It's amazing.
