I think it's interesting that male sex toys (such as those fleshlights and the various rip-offs) are looked upon as completely weird (at least in American culture), but it's almost expected that a woman would have a vibrator.

All I ever heard was the Japanese name for it."
She seemed actually offended that I called it the Senkaku Islands rather than the Chinese name.
I work at an English school for international students and while several students from both countries have expressed concerns about that the others think, nothing bad seems to have come from it.
Unrelated: I woke up with dried blood on a fingernail and nary a scratch on me.
Basically what happened was the two girls were were paddled at a school by male assistant principals and received bruises from it. So the parents, not upset about the punishment itself but the fact that it was males doing the punishing which was against policy, complained. What did the school district do? Well they expanded corporal punishment of course and and now any gender administrator can punish any gender student. Oh, and this was in Texas.
Regarding the video, I would be less weirded out if she just referred to them all as tentacles or penii or anything that implied she realized what it looked like she was trying to sell.
