  • The stereotype is grape soda.

I think that depends on your location...

and how much you watched Keenan and Kel as a kid.

  • Yeah man, Kel loves orange soda.
  • Orange soda is good stuff, man. :)

When it comes to strictly fruit flavored sodas I've always been partial to grape. It's just better than the rest.
  • I never cared much for grape. However, lime Fanta was actually pretty tasty.

This is coming from someone who drinks soda about once or twice a month, though.
  • Strawberry Fanta (or Welch's, which doesn't seem to exist anymore) are simply the best fruit soda in existence. Sadly, strawberry is REALLY hard to find. I don't understand why it's not more popular (but some of our local McDonald's have it now.)

Nah man. Pineapple is the true king of the fruit flavored soda's. Pineapple rules the other flavors with it's tangy goodness and spiky green crown.

I'm odd. I don't like soda, but I drink it all the time. I much prefer tea but it's just too inconvenient. I make a gallon of sun tea and it's gone before I go to bed. I can't make a gallon of tea a day, no time.

Honest Tea (the stuff with minimal sugar, not their new plastic bottled garbage) is fantastic, but expensive.

  • The one drink I wish they would bring back is the Kool-Aid Invisible Watermelon Kiwi pouches. GODDAMN that stuff was good. Brings back memories of going swimming all day then playing vidya games and drinking tons of that stuff.
  • You all are wrong, Ecto Cooler is the best.

    Worth it?
No Make Kiwi Lemonade yourself, that shit is also awesome.
  • Grapefruit soda. ^_^
  • What is wrong with being black and liking foods typical of your culture? If you're Japanese and eat rice a lot, you're not harming anyone.
  • That's what I've kind of thought. "Oh you referenced how a certain people in certain places eat certain foods? You racist!"
  • I get that people will use it to be down on other people, however, I fail to see what is wrong with eating what you like to eat.

My guess is, It's got to do with smugness and selecting specific food to proclaim to be a better person then the ones who you might think are not selecting what they should. Speaking about that, since the moment I got a dog and started loving it like a sibling, I can barely eat cow meat. I don't care much about fish or birds, but cows remind me of my dog, also pigs, and goats, things that have 4 legs.

Oh I find nothing wrong with it, I just chuckled a little to myself that I just happened to see two classic stereotypes within 15 minutes of each other. I do find it a little upsetting when there are suggestive commercials like the Popeyes chicken where the ladys like "HEY YALL I MADE FRIED CHICKENS".

ok, so in humble bundle V if you paid extra, you got Lone Survivor, Super Meat Boy and Braid as well. I only paid a couple bucks, but I just checked the downloads page and they magically appeared O_O

Edit: Derp I'm dumb they sent an email about it.

  • Today I crossed some things off my bucket list that weren't even on my bucket list prior to my doing them. I won't say what they were though. For reasons.
  • So buttsecks?
  • Nothing so interesting. I think I over-exaggerated because I was in the moment. Probably one bucket list item at best. Also my reasons have nothing to do with my age, and its relation to any state laws universal throughout all of these United States, and any activities prohibited by them.

To combat Civ 5 King mode being too hard but Prince being too easy, I've started to use teams. Introducing Team Mannerheim-Churchill-Celestia. Sometimes I wish my Civ games were real.

  • Adjusting for inflation, the aggregate non-television technology of my house (Laptops for three people, smartphones for three people, eBook readers for two, a GameCube, and a PS2) costs less than what we spent on our first desktop computer.

  • Just saw this posted on Reddit. If I ever had to start a horror game, or add an element of panic to something, this is similar to what I would write:

THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM CONTRA COSTA HEALTH SERVICES. THERE IS AN
    EMERGENCY AT CHEVRON REFINERY.

RESIDENTS IN RICHMOND. NORTH RICHMOND AND SAN PABLO. ARE ADVISED
TO SHELTER IN PLACE. GO INSIDE. CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS. TURN
OFF ALL HEATERS. AIR CONDITIONERS AND FANS. IF NOT USING THE
FIREPLACE. CLOSE FIREPLACE DAMPERS AND VENTS. AND COVER CRACKS
AROUND DOORS AND WINDOWS WITH TAPE OR DAMPED TOWELS. MEDIA NEWS
NETWORKS WILL CONTINUE TO CARRY UPDATED EMERGENCY INFORMATION.
STAY OFF THE TELEPHONE UNLESS YOU HAVE A LIFE THREATENING
    EMERGENCY.

(That said, I hope everyone is safe and the situation resolves as soon as possible)
  • It seems to be a fire at the Chevron Refinery.
