As interested I am in seeing how this will all turn out, I do wonder if since the ending theme is an original song, we will be seeing some original animation with the whole thing.
Probably the first ever fanmade episode: There are many obvious flaws, but I think they did a good job of mixing lore with a character-based story. I think this pretty much qualifies for instant fanon.

I think while they were too heavy-handed, it was very sweet and endearing in a lot of ways because of how they mixed lore with character development. And as someone who likes winter, it's really pleasant.
What really came off as amateur was the voice acting. Snowdrop herself was great, but everyone else sounded very generic or they didn't put much effort into their characters. Most of the shorts throughout the whole fandom have great voice acting with people who can really get involved in their character through a comedic or academic standpoint. It's just surprising that this really highly built up short had that massive flaw.
Yeah, some of the voice acting is weak compared to the overall standard they're trying to set here.
Was it really that highly built up, though? I don't know if I had even heard of it until it came out; to me it was a pleasant surprise. It's not like Double Rainboom - that one, I expect, will be measured against a relatively high bar.
That was really good. There are definitely some problems, though. For example, I would have done some jiggery pokery to get rid of the sibilance during the opening narration. But it was still really good.

Excited about it overall.

You guys should watch this to see what I mean. There's limited animation but I enjoyed it way more than snowdrop personally.
Hopefully this can get a full animation treatment as well
Either way, it's one of the best SFM videos I've seen.

Double Rainboom. Let's see if this is any good.
